When the weather is warm, sit out on the spacious deck and take in the stunning views of the forest and the mountains peaking behind the branches. This home is on Sugar Mountain Resort, making it easy to walk to the lifts and spend the day tearing up the slopes. You can also walk less than 200 yards farther down the road to get to Ole Esval Sugar Mountain Municipal Golf Course. If you're looking for even more of an adrenaline rush, head eight miles north to Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zipline or about 10 miles south to Mile High Swinging Bridge.

Has potential, but was very dirty
This place has potential, but I was very disappointed assuming how nice the photos looked. The kitchen is pretty crowded and kitchen supplies were under stocked which was easily worked around for a weekend stay. If you are going with the family or a group, take your own games because Bingo all you’ll find in the condo. My main disappointment was how dirty the house was. The kitchen and all 3 bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. We initially walled in the condo to see cigarette butts sitting on the kitchen table along with ashes and a pack of cigarettes in the trash can. The kitchen table/chairs had sticky residue on them and all appliances had nasty smear and streak marks all over them. The bathrooms were the worst, there were dark run marks down the walls, the baseboards were disgusting, and the showers had mold and mildew build up all over them. The lack of cleanliness was extremely disappointing especially after we weren’t able to check in until 4pm for the condo to be “cleaned”. Won’t be staying here again.

Great cost benefit but the place just needs a little more love and care. It was just not clean enough to the point that you would need to look into the details to notice, it was evident from dust/spider nets to dishes. Also, the spring mattress used on the beds, were too noisy… very move you do, all people could hear. Finally, just be aware of the third floor stair which is an invitation to tragedy if you don’t take care because it is a steep stair with half a foot steps with carpet, so very easy to slide and fall, so be careful if you have kids on the third floor! On the other hand, location and access are great, so although I would say a little cheaper would be more appropriate, the cost benefit is worth.

Location perfect for family ski trip with kids ages 10, 8 and 7.
Extremely convenient to Sugar Mountain skiing, tubing, ice skating. Very clean and cozy. Parking a bit tight for Yukon XL, but if you park at slight angle it is no problem. Would definitely return.

Great stay!
We had a great time on Sugar Mountain and even got a foot+ of snow. Plenty of room for our family and a couple friends. Nice walk down to the ski lodge.

Quaint!
Condo was clean and updated! A little tight in the kitchen with such a big table with the chairs but manageable. Loved the fireplace. Thought there was supposed to be a hairdryer somewhere but we couldnt locate one which made for a chilly morning with wet hair when walking outside. Parking is definitely not meant for large truck as you cant pull in and out without doing a 2-3 point turn.

Recently rebuild with fine furniture and appliances. Great location for different activities during the summer. Currently all of them operational with social distancing guidelines followed. We were missing AC, but the weather was cooperating.

Sugar Mountain Ski Getaway
Weekend ski get away for my son’s birthday. The condo has been recently remodeled very nicely. It is in a great location! We spent Friday night at Beech Mountain resort, which is a short 20-25 minute drive. Spent all day at Sugar Mountain on Saturday, easy walk to the lodge from the condo for tickets and snowboarding. It’s definitely nice to be able to basically ski-in and ski-out whenever you want to. Great place and location!
