We stayed at this hotel for 13 nights early August. We booked a corner room. We arrived in the very early hours of the morning so just wanted somewhere to sleep after 18 hours travel. Bed was comfy. Aircon did not work and the floor was sticky (hard floor) Our booking included a free upgrade but we weren't offered one. Next morning we had showers and found the water went out all over the bathroom floor. Went down our included breakfast which was good and quite a few choices and nice restaurant. Staff there were all lovely and helpful. After breakfast we went to reception to change our room. The lovely staff member there showed up a couple of rooms - one had working aircon, carpet and a shower that looked like it would leak water over the floor so we moved to it. The view outside was a construction site but it was interesting to watch the goings on so didn't bother us. They have a shuttle which we made use of but it only went a few times a day to shopping malls and mrt. Mrt was about a 10min walk away so not too far. Also a 7Eleven store just next to hotel, and a Burger King 5 minutes walk away behind a petrol station. The hotel is a tired looking and could do with a make-over otherwise it served our purpose and we enjoyed our stay.

Hotel very tired. In need of complete refurb. Damp smell in corridors. Run down neighborhood with construction about to start between the hotel and the main road. Plus the usual fake taxi driver out front trying to scam the tourists. Positives… All staff really nice and the buffet breakfast was great.
