I like the hotel for its view to the River and the good food at the a la carte restaurants however I don’t feel welcomed by the staff at the pool area. They don’t smile and walk around looking at you like you have done something wrong. I thought may be it’s just me but for all 3 days I was at the pool, it was the same behavior. I don’t doubt that they work hard but no smile is on display and they walk around with a semi angry face. Not sure what it’s about while the reception staff were very pleasant.

The people on our floor were rude and noisy. A/C in our room leaked onto floor in puddles, bathroom smelled of mildew and mould, making my husband very unwell. Benjamas in the restaurant was wonderful and attentive. Mr Por at Concierge Services was helpful.

Good room and service but occasional noise
The hotel’s room and service were great. Only thing that can be improved is that the AC sometimes took a very long time to bring the temperature down in the bedroom and there was occasional noise from construction on some days. If your room is on the lower floors of the hotel near the pool floor, you will hear kids screaming which may wake you up depending on when you wake up in the morning.

Great service and rooms but marred by smoke smell
The service and rooms were great except for the smoke smell in one of our rooms. The smoke smell was coming from the hallway and/or adjacent rooms and the staff didn’t notice until I told them about it. They need to do a better job of enforcing their no smoking policy. There was also some construction noise heard from the room next door or floor above on some days.
