Very nice, cozy and well-located resort style hotel with great facilities. Only dawback is that some of the rooms seem rather worn-out and could benefit from a refresh or renovation.

An oasis in Bangkok, just the best
We have been coming to the Anantara riverside for years. It is always excellent, we are welcomed like old friends. Happy hour around the pool 4-6pm is an institution, I have 2 cocktails and Sarah had Singha beer. The Longtail bar is rebuilt and beautiful, we had a meal and drinks there one night. Our final evening we had cocktails at the famous Trader Vics. We take our time over breakfast, reading the Bangkok Post and working our way through small portions of many courses. we just love it and highly recommend it
