Welcome to the Poplar Inn, we are located just a couple of hundred yards from the bustling center of Banff all of its Shops, Restaurants, and Tour companies as well as the majestic Bow River and its winding walking path through town. We are in a very unique location in Banff that offers unobstructed sunshine from sunrise to sunset and we are a perfect spot to enjoy a breathtaking mountain sunset after a busy day here in the mountains.

Upon arrival, you will have onsite parking and private entrances for all units. Off of each unit you can enjoy separated patios and a sitting area with a campfire. After enjoying your mountain day adventures get connected with complimentary 5G WIFI plus each unit is equipped with flat-screen TV’s full cable and movie packages with HBO & SMART TV. Nothing says relaxing after a mountain day more than a nice soak in our covered HOT TUB.

Our Victorian home is furnished with king-size comfortable pillow-top beds, classic furniture, and each room has 24 hour access to the kitchenette with complimentary coffee & tea mini-fridge and microwave. In the mornings our chef will serve you a full breakfast where you can watch the tourists and wildlife pass by the table view. Each room has an in-suite bathroom.

Awesome Stay
We had a great time. Susan was lovely and a great hostess. The location was a 5 minute walk from about everything. It was an amazing stay. It ended with a herd of elk just outside the front door which made for some nice parting photos!!

The perfect place to stay in Banff!
This was our second trip to Banff and we knew we wanted to stay within walking distance to downtown because parking in downtown can be difficult. We couldn’t have made a better choice. This delightful B&B was clean and well-maintained, our bed was amazing, and we felt right at home. Susan, our host, was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed her wonderful breakfasts every morning, as well as her fun conversations. This is THE place to stay in Banff and we look forward to staying there next time.

Perfect location.

A wonderful stay in Banff!
The Poplar Inn is run by Susan, a delightful woman who has spent most of her life in Banff. The property is just a 5-minute walk from town, but delightfully away from the crowds. The room was clean and comfortable, and Susan provided a delicious breakfast every morning. I will happily stay here again if I am lucky enough to return to Banff.

Great bed and breakfast in a perfect location. The Inn was very clean, property well maintained and the breakfasts were delicious. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in Banff in early August. The room/ bathroom was clean and the location was great! The BnB was close to the downtown core near the restaurants and shops. The host also made us a delicious breakfast and was very friendly. Would definitely return! Thanks for a great stay!

Home away from home
Breakfast was just as pictured and very delicious. On our departure day we needed to leave 1.5 hours earlier than when breakfast was to be served. We did not leave with empty stomachs! A glass of juice and flavorful muffin was waiting for us on our way out 😃
