Newly renovated so the facilities were very clean. In room heat blew cold air only and it took ages for the water in the shower and sink to heat up. View was terrible and faced directly into other rooms/other balconies. Bed and bedding were only okay - felt very basic.

Lovely hotel!
The hotel was beautifully designed and our stay was incredible. I was traveling with a friend for my birthday, and when we arrived, there was a cupcake in the room and a card with a credit to the restaurant on site. The hot pools and sauna had just opened, and they were fantastic! Everything about our stay was exceptional, and I plan to stay there any time i return to Banff.

First i would like to say that the staff is beyond helpful. After extensive searching for a good place to stay for my anniversary I couldn’t go wrong with staring at Canoe. Parking was literally outside my room, views were immaculate as well as the amenities and short walk to the downtown area. I do wish they had better selection of channels on the tv for sports and movies but other than that I would definitely be coming back

A treat just outside downtown
Decided to treat myself for my first time in Banff, albeit alone! Excellent value for money—balcony and all the trimmings like locally made toiletries made it feel all the more luxurious. Worth it. Super convenient to be the first bus stop as well.
