my only comment is regarding the front end staff. on several previous stays there was some flexibility offered at the time of check in with respect to room choice based on our loyalty to this site. on this visit upon checkin the person that helped was very rigid in what he could or couldn't offer in terms of room upgrades despite the hotel not being very busy. This led us to consider other hotels in the future as this an annual trip we take for my wife's birthday.

Great stay, Renovated
This hotel has been nicely renovated. The rooms were clean and spacious. They included pool robes, glass wine glasses and corkscrew, water glasses, ceramic coffee cups, espresso cups, and a an espresso machine. The hot tub area was clean very enjoyable. The sauna was out of service but we enjoyed the steam room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was great! The good was fresh and plentiful with good variety. The staff was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again.

A very nice, clean and quiet facility. Friendly staff - let us check in early as it was not busy when we were there. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Banff.

We loved our stay at Banff Aspen Lodge! The breakfast and service were excellent. The area was perfectly located to make it walkable. Very clean and fun atmosphere. We will be back!

First night I struggled to sleep because the background noise is extremely loud from some fan/motor/something in the building. They did change me to another room the second night which was excellent. Their parking is limited and full, but there are free options relatively close by.
