Quiet little getaway
Parents week away for our anniversary and were so pleasantly surprised at finding this gem.Communication with the host Zoe was top notch she answered all our questions quickly and after a huge snow fall Kurt was a quick to come out and plow us out and check on the internet/satellite. The overall cleanliness was good we did however find quite a few dishes with food stuck to them, easy to see in the slow season how this might not have been double checked and was easy enough for us to move past due to the rest of the cottage being clean. We were really looking for a quiet, cosy little get away and this place really delivered. We were able to explore some of the area on foot and can imagine how stunning it would be in the summer and fall. Bedding was incredibly clean and the bed in the master was so comfortable. The tub was marvellous for those cold winter days and one of the features I had looked forward to most, it did not disappoint. Aside from the wifi we had no cell reception which wasn’t necessarily a bad thing but did cause a little issue with contact with our kiddos during the snow storm so something to be cognizant of if you don’t like being low tech. Again this was no slight to the property or hosts just the trouble with Mother Nature - Zoe was quick to help us troubleshoot and Kurt double checked the area when he came to plow but my husband had been able to clear the snow around the receiver and restore the wifi. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice place
We had a very nice time staying here, it was a nice spot to get away, we would definitely come back again in the future, I love that it had two bathrooms, beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed the ping pong room, and canoe ride on the river.

Everything exceeded expectations. They also have table tennis which seems to be a new addition and is not stated in the description. The only pity is that we couldn't find the trail which is supposed to be 2 minutes away, so we just took a walk along the road.
