For the most part this place was great! Although the bad parts really stuck out and made it not great. The floors were disgusting turning our feet and socks black in a matter of minutes. The beds weren’t too bad for motel beds. They were on wheels which made them roll around but that wasn’t a problem just odd. The shower head had originally been pointed at the wall and ended up flooding the bathroom. We were able to easily fix it but it was annoying to have to deal with in the first place. The tub also drained extremely slowly. By the end of my 10ish minute shower, the water was above my ankles. Overall I’m happy with this place I would’ve just liked a little bit more attention to cleanliness when it comes to after guests leave.
The room was clean, I will give it that, but it was not a practical, functional place to stay. This was one of if not the most expensive room offered at this motel. It was advertised as having such amenities as a full kitchenette, bathroom, king size bed. It indeed has those things. What they didn't mention is that they deleted ALL normal basics that even the most simple and inexpensive of budget motels would have. There are no bedside end tables or night stands of any kind. There are no lamps or any form of lighting in the room at all except for a central overhead fluorescent light that is both dim and harsh at the same time. There is no light that can be accessed from the bed. There is no desk or bureau or other counterspace or other place to set anything down except a hard bare floor. There was not a single chair in the room. The ONLY furniture in the room was a bed, and a pair of tiny round stools with a matching little round table that literally looked like they came out of a child's play house. The top of this table was about the size of a pizza. The "remodeled bathrooms" are great....as long as you don't have to use them. The toilet was shoe-horned into a corner between the wall and tub/shower such that anyone but a small child could not sit on it unless they were sitting sideways. There is no counter or any place to set toiletries/toothbrush, shaving stuff etc other than the floor. The lack of basic furniture makes the kitchenette useless. Bathroom almost unusable.
Nicely remodeled and very clean! Nice to have a full size refrigerator! Train sounds were unique

Cute and cozy inside.
The outside is deceiving. The inside is cute, remodeled and cozy. Our deadbolt wouldn’t lock (room 7) and we didn’t like that but it was a good place to stay passing through. There is no front desk but you just call the number from online and they tell you what to do.
Our stay was nice the room was clean and had all the essentials the only thing it needs is better and more pillows but other than that our stay was good.
Todo muy bien limpieza, estado de la propiedad e instalaciones, el unico problema el tren, pero luego nos percatamos que el ruido del tren tambien se escucha en Lava Hot spring por eso decidimos calificarlos con esta puntuación
The train can be quite annoying, but the location and price were great if you are wanting to go to Lava and aren't looking to camp. Check in was a bit confusing, as there is no on site office, but staff answered quickly and were very helpful. The full kitchen was a great feature and all amenities were up to date. Having a roku in the room was a great feature for my kids. I wish it was easier to get new towels and soaps. Otherwise, I would give it 5 stars.
The rooms are super cute and you can park right by the door to your room. It’s a super small town with no amenities so make sure you have everything you need. The kitchenette was stocked and nice to have, it was tucked in the corner with plenty of space in the rest of the room.
Unit 7 deadbolt does not lock. We had to put our suitcases against it. In general it is very clean but floor had not been swept at this stay. We had problems last time we stayed with the door locks not working. Trains horns go off regularly but that is no fault of the property. Bring ear plugs. Safe area

Pretty country area. Town is a ghost town, no stores or restaurants, have to go to Lava or Soda springs for anything. Right next to train tracks that was quite noisy. Room was updated and fairly nice. Other guests were noisy, coming and going throughout the night. They parked so close to my car and dinged the doors.

Check in was a bit of a nightmare. 1st there is no front office, which I was aware of. I called the # & got voicemail. Called again was told my room # & that that it's unlocked with keys inside. Well it was locked! Then I was given the code to the laundry room & the code on a box to get the key. No key! Was told the manager would be there in 15min. She arrived, apologized & said I get a $ 20 refund which I haven't seen on my credit card yet.
