The Hideaway is a large steading conversion hand built with 18 high douglas fir trusts supporting the original structure which was once a farm building housing a thrashing mill, cattle storage and accommodation for the local shepherd, his horse and dog. The original footprint has been maintained and the original granite was still exist in some parts of the house.
The family room, dining area and large open plan kitchen form the focal area of the house. The bedroom wings separate and the adjoining Bothy gives guests the option of a separate area for those whom wish to have a little down time. There are two ensuite bathrooms, the master en suite has a wellness jacuzzi bath with light therapy. Experience unspoilt and uninterrupted views from the hot tub under the slate and timber gazebo with to die for of Benachie on the horizon. The house has been lovingly built and restored by the present owner.
