Armstrong 8 - Two Bedroom House, Sleeps 4
Set against a backdrop of the Bamburgh beach sand dunes with endless views of the Northumberland sky, this renovated cottage is located within easy walking distance of many attractions, making your stay all the more special. The beach is just on the other side of the dunes and with just a few minute’s walk you’ll be in the centre of Bamburgh with a choice of places to eat and some little shops to mooch around. There is also the Grace Darling Museum where you can learn all about the famous shipwreck and maritime rescue of 1838. We can’t forget to mention Bamburgh’s most popular asset which is its castle! A great spectacle from the village or the beach.
Just a few miles to the North is Holy island or if you head South instead, Seahouses, a large village with lots to do and its own harbour, is just 5 minutes’ drive away. You can take a boat trip from the harbour out to see The Farne Islands with its abundance of sea birds.
A rich colour scheme alongside natural materials such as marble, copper and wood used with bold soft furnishings give the interior a luxurious feel. Two bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms, and a bright and airy open plan living space make this property ideal for two couples holidaying together. Outside you can sit in the sun on the patio, a great spot to dine outside. On the colder days, come inside and get toasty in front of the real wood burning fire.
