I had an early flight and decided to stay at a hotel near the airport and take the 4:30 am shuttle. I was pleased with my choice of the Wingate at BWI. The room was comfortable and the shuttle driver was very pleasant. Check-in and check-out were quick. My only concern was that the internet did not work in my room, but as soon as I stepped in the hallway, it worked. There is a nice dining area for breakfast. I sat there to use the internet. Breakfast is included, but I left before breakfast.

Dirty and NO parking.
Disgusting dried residue on couch. No PARKING! My husband asked the front desk where to park and the women said "anywhere i clduinf disability spots." We never found one and ended parking on the curb at the street. Cars were parked on the grass...everywhere. The front desk was rude the next day when my husband told them the ordeal and dissmissive. They told us a rental car company delivers cars there at night. Never will stay again.

I would make this one a hard no. My room smelled strongly of cleaning products which was masking a dirty smoky smell in the morning. Better than camping but not acceptable. And the airport shuttle was booked up by a large group so I had to arrive at the airport an extra hour early. Coffee also horrid. Heading to Starbucks.

Our flight was canceled leaving us stranded and we booked this hotel last minute. The shuttle service was great! We didn't have luggage so the hotel gave us toothbrushes and toothpaste!

Rude staff
The room had a small couch with only one chair. You can only watch television in the bedroom. The couch was so worn out you sink down inside of it and the chair had a weak piston and constantly went down. The check in staff was rude. A slim black girl who asked for the documents, set them on the counter and said your room is down the hall to the right. I realize people have bad days but you should make the process automated. There are gnats in the room!!

our stay was fine but I'd like to point out there is an issue with the elevators. I wound up walking down twice from the fifth floor. Pushing the button to call for the elevator didn't seem to work and the left elevator didn't work at all. Otherwise our stay was fine
