This home opens up to hallway with the main restroom and laundry room. You then walk to the kitchen, the main bedroom with its own full restroom is to your left. The kitchen is fully stocked and has a refrigerator, oven, and dishwasher, as well as many other amenities. Connected to the kitchen is a dining area and the living area. The living area has a couch bed, a recliner, a tv, and a fireplace. The door to the balcony is attached to the living area. There is a bedroom off of the living area that has a queen bed. Turning left, once you enter the home, there are stairs down to the garage. The main bedroom and the living room have a TV and DVD players with DVDs.
Guests will have a private entrance to this home and would be able to access the full home and garage.
This home is located in beautiful Bailey, Colorado. This small town has all that you need for a relaxing getaway. There are restaurants, hiking trails, and mountain views in every direction. There is wildlife big and small all around and depending on the season you may see bugs, deer, bear etc. You will experience all kinds of weather, occasionally to the extreme. Our place is the ideal spot to unwind and many guests choose to “unplug” as well. If you are looking for all of the adventure of the Colorado outdoors with the amenities and comfort of a modern home, this will be perfect for you!
A welcome binder will provide you with lists of restaurants, things to do in the area, and nearby hiking trails. Bailey, CO is within 1 -2 hours of many popular ski areas: Breckenridge, Keystone, and Copper Mountain to name a few. You can enjoy a breathtaking drive through old mining towns of Colorado on your way to these ski resorts.
The closest large grocery store is the Safeway or King Soopers in Conifer, 14.7 miles away but there are some smaller stores and a large Dollar General, gas stations, hardware stores, restaurants, breweries, and a post office in the town for more immediate needs.
The home has central heating for the winter months and feel free to open windows and the balcony screen door in the summer months for a nice, mountain breeze. There is also a gas fireplace in the living area.
While we love animals, pets are strictly prohibited for a variety of reasons some of them being allergens left behind in the house. Because you are in a mountain town, please remember that wildlife will be present. Any trash left outside is at risk of being spread by animals. Please properly place all trash in the locking, bear-proof trash can in the garage.
For safety reasons, there is a security camera above the front door.
