NO AIR CONDITIONING. That was a bit of a shock as the website showed that some of the rooms had AC - which was not true - miserably hot. Also, the elevator did not work at any point during our four day stay. Lovely hotel and people but I would not stay there again and we debated about leaving even though we prepaid for the room.

Excellent quite location in the center of the city near huge park and many major attractions (historical casino, theatre, museums, hot baths). Very clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Very helpful stuff and excellent breakfast.

Historic hotel in Baden Baden
Historic hotel centrally located in Baden Baden. Easily accessible by bus. Hotel is about 200 years old. Room was large and well equipped.

This hotel is steeped in history but has all modern facilities. The central staircase is a wonderful feat of engineering and time should be taken to appreciate it both looking down from the top and up to the stained glass window in the ceiling several floors up. Breakfast was excellent with everything you could think of provided and all the staff were attentive, polite and very helpful. Our room overlooked the main road but was very quiet. The hotel is central so you can walk to shops and bars etc very easily. Would recommend.

Old school hotel in a perfect location with high ceilings and lots of character. Breakfast really good and well attended- staff were great. They brought a small Easter basket to my son at our table Easter morning which was sweet. Very few kids in the hotel so maybe that was why? Easy walking distance to the big spas, restaurants and shopping. We loved our stay.
