Lækkert hotel, fantastisk udsigt
Lækkert hotel, fantastisk udsigt, det skønneste personale. Vi ankom lidt sent grundet trafikken på A7 Kokken hjalp os med et dejligt måltid og der var gode vine på kortet at vælge imellem. Efter at have spist ville vi sætte bilen til at lade. Men de nye ladebokse tog ikke imod vores kreditkort. Wirelanes app kunne heller ikke starte opladningen, hvilket var kritisk for vores videre rejse, da vi ankom med 3% strøm på bilen. Heldigvis var det sødeste og dejligste personale meget hjælpsomme, og selvom de sikkert havde fri, hjalp de i mørket med at kontakte en hotline som ved midnat fik startet laderen. Helt igennem fantastisk personale, og et dejligt sted vi kommer tilbage til. Næste gang ikke kun på gennemrejse.

it's Superb!!!
it's the highlight during my entire trip, the hotel is very comfort and the resturant is surprisingly high quality, I've enjoyed the dinnner and also the breakfast. can't wait for next visit!

Dette er et rigtig hyggeligt hotel med personale, som kerer sig om gæsterne. Vi var heldige at blive opgraderet, og fik et rigtig fint værelse med en stor terrasse og udsigt over området. Middagen om aftenen var rigtig god, servicen var fin, og morgenmaden dagen efter var også super. Hotellet er rigtig hyggeligt , og ligger meget roligt

Nice location, but relatively expensive
We had booked a room at the hotel, but it turned out the room was located in a separate 4 room cottage down a trail where we had to drive by car. We did not feel comfortable there, and room was relatively expensive. Therefore we drove back to the reception to ask for a room at the main hotel. In the reception they claimed that we had booked a room in the cottage. But no cottages were shown at booking by pictures or in writing, nor in our confirmation. After some discussion, we were upgraded to the last room available at the hotel. Had we known that the room would have been in such a cottage, we would never have booked it. The hotel itself was nice, the restaurant has a beautiful view over the valley. Dinner vs. quality (and waiting time) was expensive, the service in the restaurant was friendly.

Wir haben vor fünf Jahren schon einmal eine Nacht hier verbracht. Der positive Eindruck von damals hat uns bewogen, wieder hier zu buchen. Wir kamen am Sonntag zur besten Kaffeezeit an. Die Terrasse war entsprechend voll. Wir ergatterten trotzdem noch einen Tisch und konnten nach längerer Autofahrt so richtig runterkommen. Der Ausblick ist traumhaft. Sowohl beim Kaffee als auch beim Abendessen wurden wir von sehr netten und kompetenten Kellnerinnen bedient, die alles im Blick hatten. Nachts haben wir wunderbar geschlafen, am Morgen uns über das großzügige Badezimmer gefreut. Das Frühstücks-Büfett ließ ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen. Alles war sehr appetitlich angerichtet. Es gab u.a. kleine Gläser Schmand mit Obstschicht, die mich über die Nichtverfügbarkeit der Mohn-Schmand-Torte (meine stärkste Erinnerung an den Aufenthalt vor fünf Jahren!) am Vortag hinweggetröstet haben. Angenehm war darüber hinaus die Erreichbarkeit des Zimmers, ohne Treppen überwinden zu müssen.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gelegen in einem kleinen Ort, direkt am Wanderwegenetz mit Blick in das Werratal. Leider war der Sparbereich nicht nutzbar, was ich bei der Buchung wohl überlesen haben muss und so erst durch eine nachträgliche Mail erfahren habe. Darüber hinaus hatte mein Zimmer leichte Defizite in der Sauberkeit. Auf den Heizungsrohren im Bad und auf dem Schrank war Staub, der auch nicht ganz frisch war. Ich erkläre mir dies mit den Folgen des Fachkräftemangels, da der Rest des Hauses gut aussah. Am letzten Tag konnte ich nicht das Frühstück auf der Terrasse einnehmen, da diese an dem Tag gereinigt werden sollte. Sehr schade, da es ein schöner Ort für ein gemütliches Frühstück ist. Alles in Allem ein schönes Hotel, dass wahrscheinlich mit dem Fachkräftemangel zu kämpfen hat, wie viele andere Unternehmen auch. Zum Restaurant kann ich nichts sagen, da ich dort nicht gespeist habe, jedoch sind der Kuchen und die Torten sehr lecker.
