Very pleasant experience!
Quiet, secluded old nostalgia style hotel which might not be to everyone’s taste, but I I personally found it quite charming. The restaurant is beautiful and the breakfast plentiful. Every member of staff is really helpful and efficient. Will definitely go back.

If you're looking for a glamorous boutique hotel with a fresh and modern look with all the glitz of a designer magazine then this is not for you. But... If you want a bit of 70's retro this place is fabulous. It even had the 1970's smell. It has a fantastic location in the town and I love it. Brown, brass, marble and teak wood set against bold carpets. Don't let the pictures online put you off. And don't worry about those temperamental credit card door entry pads here... good old fashioned keys that you leave at reception. How awesome 😎 The bathroom tiles are so 70's... They scream Beatles, Rolling Stones and Abba all at once. But... They look brand new... Absolutely immaculate. The bathroom sink is so large you could swim in it. This was a fantastic nostalgic throw back to simpler times and if the management have got anything about them they should market it that way. It has all modern facilities i.e., pool, WiFi etc for the kids. We stayed whilst visiting friends in the town so it was a base rather than a resort per se. It's located at the top end of beautiful Bad Salzufen right next to the Kurpark. This should be marketed by the company to Brits as a weekend 70s retreat and the prices are very good. If you're looking for a piece of 1970s nostalgia and a great weekend break then get yourself booked to Bad Salzufen and the Maritim Hotel... Bloody marvelous

I stayed at the hotel for a weekend event being held onsite. Lovely little property, very friendly staff who were gracious and accommodating. Free garage parking. Quaint town center very walkable from hotel. The property is a bit dated, but very clean. Rooms have mini-fridge, comfortable beds. Although the Hotels.com website says it has air condition, please note that there is no AC in this building.

very friendly staff-they work hard to make your stay pleasant. the bathroom is modern and cleaN. however it was well over 90 degrees and the hotel is not air ondition . also no hot water kettle or coffee maker.

We arrived after 10pm and the bar and restaurant was closed. Since we arrived by car after 10pm, the parking was closed and we had to park in the nerby streets. This was ok, but we had to move it before 8pm in the morning.

Have to say I felt very comfortable at this hotel. It wasn't the all modern and gleaming types we expect today, but in a way it was comforting and reassuring. Admittedly the rooms by today's standards were dated, yes the old box tv...but the option to have a range of english television channels gave an extra bonus. Everything was clean, functional and did not disappoint. Special mention has to go to the restaurant, I dined there twice, mention to the restaurant staff especially Alexander a true professional, thank you. I was in the area on business, yes I'd stay there again, and for the money, great value. Ignore that you are in 2015... It feels 1980's...but that need not be a bad thing!

Nice Hotel and very quiet
Stayed in this hotel for 1 night with 2 collegues and we had booked 3 rooms. We were a bit worried about getting into the hotel as our flight was late and we didn't arrive at the hotel to 11.45p.m but it stated on the website that the hotel closed the reception at 10pm. When we arrived there was a very friendly staff member to greet us and give us our keys. The room were very clean and the hotel was extremely quiet. Rooms has pay per view English movies. The breakfast was excellent as well. The only minor negative thing We could say was the wifi was a bit slow but as long as your aren't looking to stream movies it is fine. After reading some bad reviews about this hotel I am not sure what there was to complain about as all of us were very happy with it and would definitely use it again in the future.

Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes und rechhaltiges Frühstück, Toplage am Kurpark. Einrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Parkgebühren relativ hoch (15,-€) Man kann aber versuchen in den Seitenstraßen einen Parkplatz zu finden. In der Straße direkt vor dem Hotel ist parken nur begrenzt möglich
