Historic
We loved the old house and all the period furnishings. Mostly we loved that it could fit all of us in one place. A short walk to the nice little beach was great. A short drive to Walker or to Brainerd to explore. We had a wonderful time being together, sitting around a campfire, grilling, and playing in the yard.

Historic gem
The Bailey house was a beautiful spot walking distance from the lake park and the resort our family was staying at. Charming, historic and spacious were a few comments that our group provided. The place could use a deep cleaning and the kitchen could be more organized and equipped. We had a larger gathering for cake one evening and a fun camp fire outside. All in all a good spot to accommodate many from our group.

Wonderful place with a few issues
The house was very interesting and fun. Family had a great time. Fire pit was great. Kitchen is small with very little work space so that made it difficult to cook for a large group. The house could do with a deep clean. Very dusty and animal hair pretty much everywhere.

Stepping Back in Time
This beautiful OLD mansion was exactly as described, it needs summer pictures, and the lake and a beautiful park are right out the door. We celebrated my moms 80th Birthday.

Large but a few problems
It is a very large house in a nice location for a family. A small but sandy beach and playground is only a few minutes walk away. Most of the furniture was old and uncomfortable and the kitchen was small. The house was also not very clean. Despite these issues we enjoyed our family weekend.
