Had a beautiful stay in one of the lagoon villas. From the moment we arrived staff were incredibly helpful and attended to everything we needed. We took the opportunity to participate in the sound healing ceremony in the beautiful temple, which was a great experience. The grounds are beautiful and create an atmosphere conducive to relaxation. We also booked a couples Thai massage which was excellent. Food and drinks at the restaurant were top quality. Would definitely recommend for those looking to disconnect, slow down and rejuvenate.

Whether strolling through the lush gardens or relaxing by the water, the peaceful environment was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. One of the highlights of my stay was the crystal-clear freshwater that surrounds the property. The water is absolutely incredible – so clear and refreshing that it felt almost surreal. I spent many hours swimming and simply soaking in the natural beauty of the area. Overall, my stay at Akalki Hotel & Centro Holístico was nothing short of magical. Manglar room musty. Staff unhelpful.
We booked the last room left, which was a manglae room. When we arrived, the room was very musty and was being used as staff luggage storage. We did not stay at the hotel because the room was so musty. The hotel would not give us a refund, although the room was in no condition to be rented. The other rooms might be beautiful, but the room is horrible and should not be rented out to anybody.

This hotel was the most serene and tranquil experience ever had. It felt like we had the hotel all to ourselves as there are only 17 rooms, and our bungalow was over the water with direct access to the lagoon from our back door. This was a dream, we will definitely plan to be back!
