A Gem of a Place!
This is one of a small number of cottages tucked away in a lovely little village with views overlooking open fields and it was wonderful. It was impeccably clean, nicely decorated, adorned with everything you’d need for a stay and I can not fault anything about it. Internet was decent and TV was big (that’s what we do on an evening) and the heating was very efficient with an amazing shower. The love and care put into the place is evident in literally every square inch of the property and the owners have very right to be proud of this little gem. Highly recommended and we would love to go back!

Great place to stay. Central to most attractions and close to coast. The Cidar Barn is very comfortable with modern amenities. We stayed a week and found plenty of things to do even on rainy days.

Wonderful stay
Stayed at the Cider barn, it was immaculately clean and tastefully furnished, beds were extremely comfy with lovely quality bed linen and towels. It was a bonus to have the use of the laundry room where you were able to wash, dry and iron clothes. The area where the property is situated was so peaceful and relaxing in the beautiful countryside with views of the Axe Valley. Would love to return in the future. (Thank you for the welcome cake it was delicious).

Better than expected - such a beautiful setting
Loved the Cider Barn. The girls loved their room and the freedom to walk around the yard, feed the chickens, see the sheep and wander the town. We enjoyed our week there so much and are already missing the place.

A Wonderful Family Break
We had a truly wonderful break at Valley Farm, staying in the "upside down" Cider Barn. The location was perfect for all the areas we wanted to get to: Devon beaches, Dorset coast, and a few other star attractions, such as Bicton Botanical Gardens and the Wildlife Park. The village had two very welcoming pubs, a shop, and was very picturesque. The Cider barn itself was a perfect base - fully-equipped, pristine but cosy, and our young son loved watching the lambs from the window. Helen and co. were also very welcoming while not encroaching on our holiday time. Although my husband and I typically like to go for pastures new when choosing holidays, Kilmington and Valley Farm is definitely somewhere we would like to visit again. Fabulous and just what we needed.

A wonderful retreat, in a beautiful location
We both had such a relaxing break at Cider Barn, which is perfectly situated to explore a much wider area. Kilmington is a lovely village, and the barn is just beautiful. Helen is an excellent host, and her cream tea on arrival was very welcome. Her properties are immaculate, comfortable, and extremely well equipped. 'Home from home'. The surrounding countryside is stunning, with lovely coastal walks, quaint villages, and cozy pubs and coffee shops. Will definitely be returning, missing there already!

Great
We always arrive arrive at holiday accommodation with some trepidation as we've had some terrible experiences in the past. So it was great to find ourselves at a wonderful cottage which actually was as advertised. We had a lovely time and were very comfortable and had all the equipment we could possibly need. The best ever!!!! Tricia
