Perfect for two couples 4 people max
The extra beds were in the living room. One is a Murphy bed and we had no instructions how to pull out. The other is a leather couch, with no instructions. There is all windows in the living area so if someone were to sleep there they would have light and a view of the cemetery. The two bedrooms were perfect for couples.

Unfortunately BlackOpal management did not provide a good experience for us. For the price we paid, we expected far more. The property was still being painted, and there was very loud hammering and construction in the hallways right outside our unit on Friday. There is also lots of road noise that made us keep the patio doors closed most of our time there. The fire pit was not what you would expect as it was more of a fire trough and it's location on the patio made it awkward to use. There is a lovely view of the skyline and the roof deck was nice. There's also a large cemetery next to the unit, which we didn't mind at all but some people may dislike. There are some decent dining options within a 20 minute walk and it's only a short drive to even better spots on Manor road or on the east side. Although it appeared to be a newer building, I cannot call it luxurious given the condition of the building, the condition of the unit and the very poor communication we received from the host.

Well appointed and furnished property. Plenty of space and very comfortable. Outdoor balconies are spacious. Neighbors were a bit loud. Had a little trouble with getting check in link to work, then realized it seems you must be at the property for check in to work. Location is good- close to university and east Austin restaurants/bars. Was helpful to have a car to explore other areas.

I booked penthouse for a bachelor trip. Nice modern property that was perfect setting for bachelor trip until my truck window was smashed in and burglarized. I thought my vehicle was safe, but anyone can walk into parking garage. Homes right next to parking garage are run down and covered in graffiti. Property owner wasn't much help other than just saying "sorry." No cameras in parking garage. I would not recommend property for safety reasons.

Noisy but convenient location and nice condo
My biggest complaint about this property was the loud noise from our neighbors from midnight to 3am on Saturday night. The check in process was also a challenge- the property manager requires 2 documents to be processed prior to giving you the access codes so make sure to fill out both documents in advance of check in. Overall the quality of the apartment was really nice as shown in the pictures and the location was convenient.

Very nice condo near downtown and a lot of cool stuff to do. About 15 minutes from the airport as well. The property is very modern and clean. It’s well kept with all the necessary amenities. The only downside I would say is that I would say it doesn’t really sleep 10 Comfortably. The upstairs king bed can sleep 2. There’s a second bedroom with 3 bunks that can sleep another 3. There’s a couch bed that can sleep another 1-2. I’d say 7-8 is more reasonable since someone can sleep on the couch. Otherwise check in was a breeze and I’d stay again if I had less people.
