Kahlahari day visits!
My daughter and I stayed at this hotel to visit Kalahari Resort which was only a 10 min drive. This stay was more feasible for us for the day passes we held. Any food or other entertainment options was all a 10-15 min drive away. The front desk attendants were very courteous and our room was clean, personalized and easily accessible. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed our two days there. The next time we visit Austin/Round Rock, we’ll definitely be choosing to stay at Hilton Tru hotel.

Loves the atmosphere. The room is small but worked out great for a one night stay. I like the text feature upon check in to report any issues. They offer an hot breakfast in the mornings with food options. Our room had a wind tunnel sound from the air vent outside our door. That was the only thing we didn’t like about our stay.

Everything was great about this property. The only reason that we couldn’t give it a 5-star review is because except we could almost hear the conversation of our loud neighbors next door in the middle of the night! Need better sound barrier or more strict silence rules!

Conveniently located and family friendly
The ladies at the front desk were so welcoming! It was a pleasant and quick check in. Our room was clean and comfortable and the hotel had some fun decor and amenities! Great for families! The breakfast was great and had hot and cold options. It is also located between some great restaurants that you can walk to! We look forward to staying here again when we are in the area

Pros: Easy parking Clean hotel Comfy beds Nice shower Cons: Breakfast options kinda suck Every other Tru i’ve stayed at had smart TVs (netflix options etc.), this one had DirectTV (which is fine just not usual) Staff was great, had a mishap with my check in. They didn’t assign my room number to my reservation so I had some random guy trying to get into my room at 2am one night and it scared the crap out of me. Called the front desk and they assured me it was purely a mistake with the assignment and they apologized. Hotel is located in a decent area, I felt safe where I was.
