The hotel staff were very professional and helpful. The clientele was mostly business travelers, and the place has a very pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast was very good (a little bit of everything) and they offered a free happy hour buffet with drinks both nights. The parking was expensive ($35 a night) and I think this is a way to offer per diem rates that meet the tax code guidelines. Include the parking in your decision to stay there.

The hotel and room were up to date and appealing. Stave was very friendly and courteous. My issue is with the room refrigerator containing some very old food.

Property was gorgeous but was very loud outside. Had a hard time sleeping because there was a band playing at 1:30 in the morning in. Cars revving their engines right outside of the window through the night.

An extra nice Hampton Inn
This was a great Hampton Inn. I had a hard time believing it was a Hampton Inn! I guess Hampton Inns are getting better. I liked all the Austin themed art on the walls. Pool area and fitness center were very nice.

Reserved a room with 2 beds for 4 people. When we arrived to check in I was told they were oversold and only had a room with 1 bed. I unfortunately reserved a room and prepaid and had to sleep on the floor. Front desk wasn’t any help other than giving us linens to lay on the floor. They did offer me free parking in the garage for the one night we were there. Be wary if you actually need what you reserved.
