Less than two miles from the Augusta National, this house sits peacefully on a scenic dead end, surrounded by trees and the quiet gurgling of Rae’s Creek on its way to the 12th Green.
After a long day at the course, come relax next to the stone fireplace under vaulted ceilings in the spacious living room. Choose one of several board games to play, or perhaps pull a book off the built-in shelves. Chat with your friends across the kitchen/dining room bar as you prepare a meal, and later take a stroll in the expansive front or back yards. The house also offers a laundry room with washer and dryer, two and a half bathrooms, and a covered back porch for your use. At the end of the day, go to sleep peacefully in one of the three lovely bedrooms. If you crack a window in the Master Bedroom, you will go to sleep listening to the murmur of the creek.
Though only three minutes from Washington Road’s restaurants, grocery stores (including Publix, Kroger, and Lidl), and amenities, you would never know it from the quiet of the neighborhood. The loudest sound you will hear is the roar of the crowds from the Augusta National during Masters week - a sound audible from the front and back yards of the house - and the rush of Rae’s Creek as you relax in the two Adirondack chairs.
During your stay, if you would like to play golf, we are only a few miles from a few fantastic public golf courses: one of which is Forest Hills Golf Course. To get in a walk or run, we recommend the beautiful Savannah River Rapids trail, only thirteen minutes away, or stay right in the neighborhood. And it is an easy four minute hop on to I-20 to get anywhere else you may need to go.
