I left a blazing review on Google for this property! This property is four minutes from the airport after you get your rental car, which is a little bit bit of a deal. You’ve only got a four minute drive. Landed in time it was pouring rain so incredibly convenient to the airport. Super super clean very modern Also, I got to say the food was absolutely incredible! Can’t recommend the food good enough The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly! Great for your money!

Stay 2 of 2: Again very cold, unfriendly restaurant staff. Duty Manager and one of the chef's were very much more interested in their personal conversation to helping or assisting potential guests to the restaurant. Perhaps this is why the restaurant was totally empty for three nights in a row. The room service robots had more personality! Bar staff were friendly and made up for this! Reception staff were great and super helpful, even when we had an issue with a blocked sink and resolved this issue easily.

The only issue we had was the cold, unfriendly restaurant staff. They came across as really not wanting to be there and were very difficult to engage even for something simple as asking for a menu. Bar staff were friendly and made up for this! Reception staff were great and super helpful

Good experience, only thing is that we couldnt turn of the heater at all which was a bit worrying as we woke up every morning having a blocked nose especially our kids. There should always be an option to be able to turn of the heater/aircon completely as natural air is much better! Air con heater does cause people at times to get sick because its too hot or too cold so just this that wasnt good but other than that everything was okay!

Nice hotel-No Complimentary Airport Shuttle
Stayed at the Sudima after flying in from Christchurch because we had a flight out the next day. The hotel was fine, but didn’t not have a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. We came in late and had to take a taxi that cost $50. They do have a bus service (on a schedule ) for $8 a person, which we were able to catch in the morning back to the airport. The room was comfortable. We paid for breakfast in the room rate. There was plenty of variety and the food was good. Overall, I would recommend this property.

Simple airport hotel, everything you need for an overnight stay. Be careful with the dietary options in the restaurant. One of the dishes that had a dairy free option was dairy free by washing the meat. For people with severe allergies, that is not going to be safe. Grateful that the staff checked that and told us.
