A very central location to stay
The house was large and had what we needed for a 3 night stay. Short walk to Ponsonby Road, supermarket, etc. Great kitchen and 3 bathrooms was good for our group of 8 people.

Excellent property for families
We were in town for a wedding and needed a central base for three generations to stay. The house was excellent, well located to great restaurants, a supermarket and pharmacy. All rooms were excellent for what we needed and there was enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The three bathrooms are a big plus. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others. Craig's communication was also great, really responsive and accommodating - thank you!

Ok…but needs improvement
Our adult family stayed for 5 nights. Location of property, space within and parking was great. Communications were promptly responded to. However cleanliness and maintenance were disappointingly poor. Grime and dusty surfaces, large hole in the bathroom wall, dirty and stained carpet, ants in pantry and inside the kettle, no dishwashing liquid, one tea towel, dryer didn’t work so difficult to dry the towels ( with only one set we needed to wash them to reuse for 5 nights) and broken Venetian blinds. It really felt like a deep clean was required and paint touched up and wall fixed and the outdoor area needs a high pressure hose to remove the green slime and I’d check the safety of the balustrade. As the weather was rainy, we didn’t have cause to use the bbq deck area…luckily. The downstairs space had a musty smell. In spite of this we enjoyed being together but wouldn’t recommend the property to others at the current price point unless these issues were addressed. We were advised we’d have the cleaning fee refunded but yet to receive that.

We were a group of friends who stayed. Great location, lots of parking. Nice facilities. We did use all the rooms, so to get to a bathroom you had to walk through an occupied room which was a tad odd, so would be perfect for 8 people. Great communication, easy access. Definitely recommend. Lots of stairs.

Great Akl city stay for families

Spacious Villa, superb location
A classic villa, updated with a studio added, as described. Lots of room. Location above all, particularly if you like Ponsonby: just around the corner from the Three Lamps end, with all the options of those blocks have to offer. Large grocery store down the hill. Short uber or longer walk to CBD and harbors. A great base for a large group.

Extended family holiday
Lovely big character house in great location with off-street parking. Comfortable for 10 & large area downstairs for teenagers with own bathroom, tv & xbox. Host very accommodating with a laundry issue on day 1 which was resolved. Recommend for large groups looking for a central location to stay in Auckland.
