Upon arrival when asking the front desk about areas to warm food. They said they did not know of any. No microwave, no ice in ice machines on floor. 2 towels in a room for family of 5. House keeping a hard time to request more towels. The restaurant ran out of condiments and paperware for food on a Saturday. Water park was ok. Food concessions had 1 worker on a Saturday.

Showboat is past its prime.
The hotel is completely run down --- and smells horrendous everywhere from the rooms to the hallways. In a pinch for a cheap stay it works but don't expect any luxuries like bath or hand soap in the room. In the 24 hours we were there it also didn't appear that any of the restaurants were open.

Only casino that you have to pay for parking before you check in. I received a ticket for parking in their garage before the night was over. No one at the front desk made sure I paid prior to going to my room. What a scam!!! Not like I didn’t pay enough to stay there. Add at 78.00 ticket. Also, the beds were horrible, worst mattress ever experienced in a casino. Never going back.

Unclear signs in parking garage, we thought you pay when you leave like everywhere else but instead we woke up to a ticket saying we owe 3 times the amount it costs to park here. There were multiple tickets on other cars in lot as well. This is a serious inconvenience and should have better signage in the lot. Our room also had no soap and shower was not draining and made loud noises when water was running. Will not stay here again.

I had booked a renovated room, but when I got there, they gave me one that wasn’t renovated yet. I kept switching rooms but front desk didn’t know which ones were renovated. I had to find out from housekeeping I was never put in a renovated room the day I checked in they said I could have a renovated room another day, but I chose not to cause I didn’t want to change rooms in the middle of my spay

I was placed in a dirty accessible room which cost $530 for one night. There wasn’t even soap in the bathroom, just one little shampoo bottle. Burn holes in the dirty old chair, beds were rock hard, a 6 inch gap at the bottom of the door which was very annoying considering how noisy the surrounding rooms were. I probably will not be staying here again unless they renovate their rooms and lower their prices.

Lot of activities for kids such as waterpark Minigolf Arcade Roller Skating etc. Valet Parking make life easier with the incredible service. Nice size bedroom especially big bathtub. Last but not least is The Location....On boardwalk you can't beat that!!
