I will start by saying that I'm a nonsmoker in a smoker room, so I am a little biased. The other rooms were already reserved. Air was musty and had a lingering smell, and the windows weren't very clean. Part of the drapes were broken down, the floor had a couple of holes in the wood, one of the chairs was stained, and the tub had trouble keeping the water in; the plug didn't exactly do what it was supposed to very well. I personally would've liked it better if the doors to close off the tub weren't M.I.A., so I could steam things up a little more. Tile is also slippery when you're getting out - The place should have nonslip mats around the steps into the rooms' Jacuzzis. Microwave is oldschool, too. Despite everything, it's not bad for the price. It's just a budget-friendly place to stay if you aim to hit Atlantic City or any of the surrounding areas. The Indian restaurant attached is good for a lunch spot, too, despite the dismal-looking parking lot around it.

Low Budget Hidden Gem
We booked a jacuzzi room and it was reasonably price for a lower budget hotel. I won’t stay again (just not my type of hotel) but it was decent for one night. The jacuzzi looked dingy and dirty even after filling it up so I never got in. The shower was the jacuzzi and there were no curtains for privacy. I wouldn’t stay again but to someone else it could be a hidden gem. Oh and the bathroom looked ok. The beds were decent I suppose I couldn’t wait to leave the next day nonetheless. Enjoy your stay though, this is just my bougie opinion.

Me llegó un mensaje que había algún problema con la tarjeta de crédito y que debía llamar al hotel, la persona que contestó fue grosera, sin profesionalismo me gritó dijo que él estaba ocupado que los llamara a ustedes y colgó la llamada con actitud nunca me dejó hablar además que al día siguiente no limpiaron el cuarto ni recogieron la basura, llamé para buscar toalla limpia y la contestación fue que tenía que decirlo temprano luego que la perdone llegaba a las 9:00am.

I requested a non smoking room.They gave me a smokers room and would not change it.All my belongings still smell like heavy cigarette smoke so now my apartment does also.Very disappointed.Extremely unfair since I have often used this particular Howard Johnson hotel.What are you going to do about this situation?The room number is 104.
