I'm a frequent Atlantic City visitor, but this was the first time I stayed at Bally's. It did not disappoint. The room and staff were great. Shoutout to Kate at the front desk she was so kind and helpful checking in after some initial confusion. Bally's was great and I will definitely be back. I will, however, book directly with Bally's next time. This is the third time I tried booking a major casino hotel through Expedia and EVERY time there are issues at check in. It's not the hotels fault just whatever third party system Expedia has going on. Not worth the hassle booking third party for these locations.

Unfortunately I didn’t pay attention when booking and booked the Dennis tower. Bad mistake. Run down, small rooms, no amenities in the bathroom. Can tell this is the original hotel. We have stayed in the ballys tower before and it’s much better. We seen a heroin needle and supplies in the middle of the lobby floor. Had to tell the front desk to get somebody to clean it up. Place smells like weed all the time. The Dunkin kiosk doesn’t let you order donuts so you have to stand in a huge like in the AM. Would I stay there again? Yes, just a little disappointed this time.

I am glad that I booked the junior suite that was Oceanfront - the room was great and the view was beautiful. The casino area and main areas of the hotel were pretty dirty, and the staff were not very friendly. It made no sense that the smoking areas on the casino floor were spread within the nonsmoking areas; you really couldn't go anywhere without having smoke smell around. The room was very noisy with surrounding guests. We wanted to watch the NFL game and had to go to another hotel to do so because of the limited dining options. Too much money for the experience that we had.

Our non-smoking room in Dennis tower was huge and the bed was pretty comfortable. We could have had a dance party in the middle of the floor because there was a big open space. Could have easily fit a couple of twin air mattresses with still a lot of space.The decor is extremely antiquated. This place needs LOTS of updating. Also, didn't feel safe to walk alone near my room and there was no latch to stop the door from opening all the way. No real security to stop just anyone from coming in. Didn't make a fuss since our stay was just one night. If it was longer I definitely would have involved management. If we return I would prefer a room in Bally's tower. It seems more secure.

Everything was dirty… these are literally the thinnest walls I’ve ever experienced, we could hear the room next to us laughing all night and could head their conversation clear as day. Also, a bit deceptive that the pool is only for adults… I understand it’s on their website, but you probably won’t see it unless you dig. The new renovated tower might be nice, but our room was old and so dirty.
