The rooms were big and had a small kitchen, but the bedding was minimal without a bedspread or pillowcases. There was no shower curtain.
Arrived and checked in with front desk master key. Left in morning and returned to find all door in accessible. Front desk frantic. Blamed corporate for not answering phone. Called fire and police. Police responded but said nothing they could do. My medicine locked in room. Desk manager said we can break window. But lucky another guest had a few coat hangers which he rigged to slip under door and unlock. I gave him $100 for his help. Checked out early but was still charged 2 nights. Desk manager was great, under the circumstances. Corporate support? “Your Fired!”
This place was a negative 5 at best, MOLD in the shower, pubic hair in the shower, bad smell in the room, kids were stomping all over the 2nd floor with no help from management. Had to track down towels from the front desk because no one left any in the room like in 99% of hotels. The entire hall smelled of marijuana daily, drug deals were taking place in the stairwell bc management disabled the door alarm. Over all it was a bad experience and they didn't live up to their own standards (posted on the bathroom mirror). My wife would not leave the room due to being scared so the reviews don’t really show this place in its true light
On July 3rd I prepaid for a room for 3 nights. At the time I was at the airport waiting for my flight, my flight was supposed to land in ATL a little after 10 pm coming from Houston but my flight got delayed an hour so I didn’t arrive until 11:20 when I got to the airport I had to call an Uber to take me to the hotel, I got to the hotel around midnight and when I got there the guy at front desk told me that my room was sold and no longer available!! There were no rooms available after I already paid $243 for 3 nights through Expedia. Now after a long day at the airport dealing with delayed flights I get to the hotel to find out I no longer had a room even after I paid for the room! I had to walk with my luggage to another hotel😡 the next day I came back to this hotel to find out if I could get my money back and they told me there was nothing they could do about that and to call Expedia to get a refund! I don’t know if I called the wrong customer service number but I never received a refund
I wish that hotels will contact guest in the near future and inform them they are renovating their hotel. I never got the chance to check in because they had no rooms ready for guests. I had to sit in my rental car in the rain on a busy weekend to find a place to lay my head for three nights. Majority of the hotels were sold out or charging expensive rates. I had to spend more money on a hotel that was not in my budget. So overall this hotel gets a negative zero for not communicating with their guests.
