Excellent location for shopping and eating. Property staff is very nice and helpful. The view are amazing. The restaurants on property were pretty good. We never made it to breakfast but we had a great time shopping and dining in walking distance.

The BEST hotel in Athens.
What a fabulous hotel!! It is perfectly located in a charming area with restaurants, bars, sights, shopping all within walking distance. The breakfast was delicious and we had a wonderful dinner with a full on spectacular view of the Acropolis all lit up. Our room had the same view with a lovely patio. We kept the curtain open all night long to have that wonderful view. Would absolutely stay at this hotel again. It made our trip to Athens so special.

Wonderful hotel
It is my first visit to Athens, and we had a great time at the Elia. The crew was amazing, and gave us everything we needed and asked for. The breakfast is wonderful and rich. I never before had a breakfast with a view to the Acropolis.

Lovely hotel with spectacular views from its roof bar and restaurant. Very centrally situated with numerous bars and restaurants nearby. Only downside for us is that we were put in a room intended for wheelchair users (we are not) and the strange wet room arrangement seemed to flood the entire bathroom with water, which then ran out the door into the bedroom, whenever we used the shower. So our tip is don’t get room 313! Otherwise you’ll enjoy your stay.

The Elia is a modern hotel in an excellent location. Lots of dining and shopping options surround the hotel and it's a relatively short walk (1/2 mile?) to the Acropolis and Agora archeological sites. The rooftop restaurant has clear amazing views of the Acropolis, and the food was excellent. Only complaint was the "club" type music the restaurant started playing while we ate (too loud, too high energy). The breakfast is also excellent with many many hot and cold options. Our room was very modern, excellent shower, and offered a view of the Acropolis. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful, for example arranging taxis for us both upon arrival at the cruise pier and departure (yesterday!). A great place to stay in Athens.

Beautiful little boutique hotel with super friendly staff tucked away on a side street right off the bustling main Ermou street. Rooms are spacious, beds are super comfortable, double windows keep the noise out, and there’s even an option for a sauna (hammam) shower! The rooftop bar and restaurant — which is available for guests for a wonderful breakfast, and for anyone for dinner and drinks while watching the sunset — is also just unbeatable!

Overlooking pedestrian shopping street was very noisy. We were not told to check that both sliding glass doors had to be closed to mitigate the street noise. Unless one was told to look in the corner behind the gathered open blackout curtains, the doors were left open just enough to let the noise enter for two days before the discovery was made,
