Room air conditioning was unavailable because the whole building shares the same system. So either every room can use heat or ac with decision made by the hotel. Inconvenient for me. Room was rather small. Tv channels very limited, seemed every station was a Greek news channel. Good location and helpful staff but not sure I would stay again.

Wonderful convenient hotel
The hotel is great! It is very convenient to all sights and the rooftop restaurant has an amazing view of the Acropolis. The breakfast is continental with a lot of choices. The coffee is wonderful. The staff are so kind and helpful. We enjoyed the stay and would return again.

Lovely hotel within walking distance of all the main attractions and close to Syntagma and Acropoli metro stops. Excellent breakfast and amazing views from the rooftop restaurant. Great to have a room with a balcony. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

This is the best hotel to stay while in Athens. Very conveniently located near Plaka, the Acropolis,dining shopping and bus stations. We had a wonderful view to the temple of Zeus from our room and although is facing the road is very quiet, the rooms are small but very comfortable and the front desk is excellent as well as the people at the restaurant. The food is excellent breakfast buffet included with lots of food selections and the restaurant for dinner is highly recommended 👌. The location of this hotel is an A will definitely return to the athens gate hotel. Thanks for everything!

PERFECT LOCATION
THE ATHENS GATE HOTEL WAS THE MOST AMAZING PLACE TO STAY IN ATHENS! IT WAS CONVENIENT TO THE PLAKA FOR SHOPPING AND TO THE ACROPOLIS AS WELL AS THE MEETING PLACES FOR TOURS WHICH WE HAD BOOKED. THE RESTAURANT ON THE ROOFTOP WAS NOT ONLY DELICIOUS FOR BREAKFAST AND DINNER BUT THE VIEW OF THE ACROPOLIS AND THE PARTHENON WAS AMAZING BOTH DURING THE DAY AND ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. THE STAFF WAS VERY ACCOMODATING WITH DIRECTIONS AND WITH SECURING A VAN FOR ALL OF OUR LUGGAGE TO TAKE US TO THE AIRPORT AT THE COCCLUSION OF OUR STAY. WE WILL CERTAINLY RECOMMEND THE ATHENS GATE HOTEL TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS!
