Great location, incredible views!

We had a great stay at this hotel. The views and location were incredible! We stayed in the Astor building. Room was clean, bright, and charming. I would absolutely stay here again... you can walk to anywhere in town, including the museums and shops.

My 3rd stay here, and I will never stay anywhere else in Astoria! In addition to a very reasonably priced "Cabin" room, the rooms have everything one needs for a comfy stay. The shared single occupancy restrooms are clean and nicely decorated. SaraAnn, the front desk/concierge was so nice and engaging. Calm and pleasant even with a busy holiday check-in schedule. Please note there is no elevator or bellhop to assist you. No problem for me! The location is right downtown, close to everything. Thank you, Norblad! You're the best, and I always love telling my friends and family about you! See you next time!

Urban Hotel that I would stay at again

I really don't want to tell people about this place because the cost is going to go up, but in full disclosure this place is great! One word of caution is that there is no AC, so if it is hot, it might be on the warm side. If you don't like road noise, this might not be the place for you either, but we enjoyed our stay.

This was such a cute hotel to stay in! You can rent out a record player for the night and choose any records you want to listen to off of their main wall of vinyls. Very centrally located to all the restaurants and shops in Astoria which was very nice as well!

Weather was hot just make sure you are prepared because the building doesn't have any air conditioning. Otherwise the rooms are clean the staff is amazing and they offer record players for a sweet music experience! Shared bathrooms and showers were very clean! Central location near fort George!

We experienced a major issue during our stay that the staff was unable to remedy. I have 4 adult travelers in my group. I intentionally booked a room with a bed and futon. I even called before booking to confirm this. Upon check in I discovered that the only room available does not have a futon and that they gave that room to another person. 2 adults in my room were forced to sleep on the hard floor for 3 nights straight during their vacation. That decision also took away the ocean view. Other cons, while the room renovations are nice there is no AC. This matters during summer when the building cooks in the sun and leaving your window open at night means waking up every 15 min to loud vehicles on the street nearby. The springs in the mattress of 217 are also very worn out, leaving our backs sore. Currently I can only recommend this hotel to groups of 2 or less and outside of hot summer months.
