The back door lock card key was completely torn up which allowed anyone to come in that door all hours of the night! Unsafe! Bed sheets had stains on them and mattress was worn out! Door was hard to lock! Carpet leading to rooms was filthy! Breakfast was poor! Gravy was watered down, biscuits dry, no eggs whatsoever. Yogurt was outdated! I couldn't get a receipt for my stay until some guy came in at 10 am and he still hasn't contacted me or sent a receipt to my email. Wyndham usually has nice hotels but this one sucks!!!! Never stay there again!

Not good for sensitive noses.
I stayed here on a road trip that I make every year, but I won’t be staying at this hotel again. The woman at the front desk was really nice, but that’s about the best I can say. The room was ok, but there was obvious water damage on the floor and a pretty musty odor. When I woke up in the morning, the room smelled very strongly of paint fumes. So much so that I really rushed to get packed up and leave. It’s unfortunate, because I think it could be a great budget hotel if they could do some renovations without raising the price too much.

I don’t recommend this hotel due to cleanliness. When we first checked in, they sent us to a room which had hair in the bed. Not just one hair but several on the pillows and in the bed. The bathroom was also dirty (dirty tub with hair and dirty floor). We asked for a different room in which we had the same thing happen. This time I just asked for the sheets to be changed. I could tell they weren’t pleased with us but I just don’t want to sleep in a bed with a strangers hair. The reviews about the carpet is in fact true. The stairwell is the worst and smells. I don’t believe they ever get vacuumed. The breakfast is mediocre. They have strawberry flavored waffles (not original). They do have eggs, sausage and gravy. But the fruit is on the verge of not being edible. This morning they had 2 bananas and they both were rotten. I recommend the Days Inn just down the road. They work hard to keep it clean. They have a good breakfast with quite a few choices. One morning they had homemade banana bread too. We just thought we’d give this one a try since it was close in vicinity of where we needed to be.

You get what you pay for
The place is old and the hallway carpets are in need of a good cleaning. The room was clean, but the bed was not comfortable at all. Breakfast was good and the hostess was super sweet

The room was really nice looking, updated, and clean aside from a bunch of crumbs/debris on the floor, meaning it hadn't been swept or vacuumed. Shower/tub had good features. Sink counter was long - very spacious for multiple people to spread toiletries out. The room was the highlight though, as the rest of the hotel (halls, floors, lobby, etc) all looked extremely worn out and in need of much replacement and cleaning. At check-in, the guy had gone to store for 10 min. Then took 10 more min to check in the guy in front of me. All after 10pm and long drive. No freezer in the mini fridge.

A Good Night's Rest
Clean, and accomodating (I'm a little handicapped; when I asked if my room was far down the hall, the clerk said it was , but "wait a second, let me move you closer to the lobby". ..and she did! MUCH appreciated. The location can be off-putting, but once inside, it's as comortable as the one that used to be across I-64 where I stayed a few years ago. I stayed a little longer in the a.m. to give time for the roads to clear after a snowfall overnight. The parking lot was plowed and cleared by 9:00a.m. This a beautiful part of the state to visit!

Skip this hotel! Nasty carpet in the stairwell. Our room wasn't cleaned before arrival- dirty towels in bathroom and dirty bedding. The staff did change our room, but even the new room had dirty floors. Not worth the stay at all!

You get what you pay for
Upon initial room assignment we went to the room to find broken tiles in the bathroom and just "old" looking. We then founf the tv to not work. I went to the front desk and was reassigned a different room. That room was much better. It was in better condition, the tv worked, and it was clean. The breakfast was ok at best. The juice machine was out of order. There was a bottle of apple juice in the fridge, but empty.

We stayed in an ADA room with a large bathroom that had a roll in shower. There was plenty of room to navigate a wheelchair. The room was a bit run down and passably clean. The free breakfast didn't include many choices and the eggs were gray. The biggest issue was that the hotel charged us again even though we had paid through hotels.com - this has not yet been resolved.
