The staff was so friendly and the property was gorgeous. Didn’t like the pool so close… could hear kids playing there til 10 at night. Room smelled strongly like chemicals

The best part is being right on Lake Superior and enjoy the lakefront!! Big problem is all the goose droppings, which I understand can be hard to control as there are a ton of geese around the area. Did it make us not want to sit outside, absolutely not, you just have to watch where you walk. Overall, our stay was fantastic!!! Definitely would stay here again!!!

Would stay again, hands down!
You’d think I could find something to rate less than excellent, but I can’t. Great service, nice room, very clean. 5 stars for the way they treat you here. Considerate and attentive. Only cheerful faces and helpful words. I watched an employee training new ones with such kindness. No wonder they pass it on to tourists!

Room had wet carpet in front of window ac unit. Suspect it was leaking. They put a dehumidifier in room, but did not help. Also hotel has only on demand housekeeping, which I don’t like. Breakfast choices very limited.

Nice view and open area as well breakfast area. Well used. Pool was really right in the center so I thought the set up was a bit strange. But if it is really cold in the winter there it most likely works best as well as the covered balcony. Restaurant next door was nice with great service.

The stay was uneventful, that means it was good. My wife and we will definitely stay there again. We have relatives that live nearby. We did have to ask for clean towels the second night; but they complied immediately.

Great hotel with a great outdoor space.
A great hotel right on the water, with a nice outdoor space to hang out and relax. The hotel is a little older but our room was clean and had all we needed comfortable. Breakfast was good and the Mexican restaurant that shares the parking lot was very good.

Was a great location and very nice rooms and pool area. If you get rooms on west side floor level you have your own private door between your room and the pool. Nice continental breakfast too, 6am - 10am. Will stay again.
