Siskiyou Mountain Place vacation rental, located southeast of Ashland, is a casual luxury retreat comprising an entire 1100 square feet floor of a 5000 square foot custom home with million dollar views in a serene forest setting. This vacation rental includes a fully furnished large main room with kitchenette, dining area and 175 square foot covered deck, full custom bathroom, one bedroom with king bed, another with two queens and a sitting area, all with BRAND NEW beds/bedding, furnishing, fixtures and appliances. New AC/heat system, ceiling fans, and crank-open double-pane windows for a cool breeze. Enjoy a shaded panoramic view toward Grizzly Peak and Emigrant Lake, plus spectacular sunsets. We provide a wide range of other amenities: Complete bedroom and bathroom linens, fully equipped kitchenette including complimentary welcome basket, variety-pak coffees and teas. Wi-Fi and satellite TV. Private guest access. Pillows and beds protected and sanitized by pillow and bed protectors. Guest area is separated from owner floors by locked doors and insulated ceilings. Guest access modes including electronic keypad and backup key lockbox, both with personal door code, 100-book fiction/non-fiction library, indoor and outdoor games (kid too!) and puzzles. Outside amenities are: Quiet solitude in the trees -- pine, fir and madrone -- with lots of birds, deer and squirrels. A 180 degree view north, east and west. Lovely time in a great space
This is such a lovely getaway! We really enjoyed the space, the beds were super comfy, everything was super clean, and the addition of a bunch of available indoor annd outdoor games and toys really took it up a notch! We had 2 under 2yo kiddos with us who also really seemed to enjoy the space and feel right at home! The hosts were communicative and so kind. We would love to see the check-out instructions displayed more clearly as we found it hard to decipher just that pertinent information! We plan on coming back for more Shakespeare, more hiking, and more relaxing in this lovely getaway! Thank you!

Enjoyed our stay immensely. Secluded and quiet. Furnishings were beautiful and functional. A lot of thought has gone into the property. The driveway was challenging the first time down but was no problem after the initial trip. The owners live above the house. It did not take away from our stay. Met Doug and enjoyed our conversation. I would definitely stay here again. Over all a wonderful place.

Quiet, Comfortable Getaway
The space that Doug and Keri have provided is immaculately laid out and decorated. We were very comfortable and felt well taken care of with lots of extra amenities (a basket of snacks, bottled water in the fridge, spare toiletries in the bathroom). It was a bit of a trek to reach the property but it was worth it for the quiet nights and lovely sunset views. Our Subaru had no problem at all with the steep gravel driveway. The fact that we were sharing a house was irrelevant. We didn't see, and barely heard, our hosts for the two nights we stayed. They did contact us briefly via text to let us know that they had spotted a bobcat on the property while we were out one evening. Thanks for the heads up! The only thing I'm dinging my review for (and seriously, this is very minor) is that the listing said "oven" but that was really just a toaster oven/air fryer. There are no built-in appliances in the kitchenette space. No big deal, we didn't really need it. But the listing should probably be very clear about that. We considered picking up a Papa Murphy's pizza on our way to check in but there's no way we would have been able to cook it.

This place is amazing
I have never stayed in such a clean, fresh and guest focused VRBO. They had everything you could want plus things like a basket of treats. I didn't see anywhere that they lived on the top two floors, so I was surprised when I saw cars on the upper driveway. All-in-all this place is top notch. It also feels brand new which was delightful.
