This property was fine. The location is fine. The property was clean, and the communication with the host was excellent. That's where the positive comments end.
While the price of the apartment was fine, when you add the host fees, the VRBO fees, etc, the actual total nightly price was precisely double the advertised price of the lodging. We could have stayed in a pretty darn nice hotel for that, and we would have had coffee in the room (didn't have it here), body wash/shampoo in the shower (didn't have it here), the bottom sheet wouldn't have a hole in it (this one did), none of the towels would have had holes (one of them here did), etc.
In summary, and it's not the fault of the location or the host, but VRBO has priced itself out of the market, at least for me. It's just not worth the extra fees. Buyer beware, the price on the website doesn't come close to describing the total cost.
