Nice hotel in a great location. Overpriced in my opinion. Room was very small, no chair no desk no bench. Bathroom shower was nice but agin nowhere to even sit toiletries. Over $400 a night an an additional $30 a day to park. Like Asheville but probably will not stay here again.

Was through town on a motorcycle ride with my wife. This hotel is completely inept to the needs of riders. Valet is a group of 12 year-olds, who would rather BS with each other than to help a guest - actually had to ask them if they’d open the door as I walk up with arms full of luggage and gear. Room was really small and a bizarre electric drill or small blender noise in the HVAC closet on the hour every hour all night. Beautiful property, decent location within walking distance of a lot of shops and restaurants. Homeless population is very present as is the over abundance of Asheville weirdness. Don’t need to return; too many other great options.

Second visit to the Flat Iron and it never disappoints. Easy check in with the added bonus of complimentary sparkling wine and sparkling water for kids. Beverage center on the floor. Friendly staff, beautiful views from the roof top adds to the allure. The gastby feel is amazing love every inch of this hotel!

A terrific choice for a short stay in a hotel that complements perfectly the vibe of the city. Upbeat and filled with interesting visual distractions. European style rooms (read small) thoughtfully decorated and comfortable. Highly recommended.

We had a fabulous stay at The Flat Iron Hotel. Very courteous and helpful staff. Best water pressure of any hotel shower. Impressive attention to little details. There are so many choices in the downtown area, but we will only be staying here from now on.

This hotel is fabulous! I love how they have kept the old world charm and history of this building alive theough educational placards. I loved the coffee/tea/water station in each floor. The decor and tiles used in the bathroom are perfect. The pillows were heavenly and the shampoo/conditioner/shower gel products were so nice that i bought some for home. I am not one to leave reviews but the Flat Iron deserves this 5 star. From the doorman to the bubbly at check-in to the locely view from the rooftop bar, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Our stay was great! We loved the room, nice and very clean. The hydration station on our floor was great! We didn’t have to drive for food or entertainment. The place is strategically situated. Roof top was great as well as the speakeasy. Lots of other things to do in the area. We highly recommend this hotel.

Fabulous property! In the middle of everything fun! That’s if you even choose to leave the place. Great roof top bar and a basement speakeasy plus very good restaurant!! The fake doors with information on prior building occupants was fasinating!

Very good location. Great rooftop. Room had an odd setup. Mostly because we were at the apex of the building so we had windows on 3 sides of the room. Staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. No room amenities. I asked for a shower cap (twice) never received and no explanation (not even a sorry we do not carry them). I thought for this high end hotel they should have them.

The location was AMAZING! We didn’t have to Uber anywhere! There’s restaurants and shops (some of our favs within 3 minutes walking time). Parking was a little difficult and had to call the front desk to ask where to park. They told us they offered valet parking but we used the parking garage that was a 3 minute walk. Not bad! Our only complaint was that when we showered, the water basically covered the entire bathroom leaving an inch of water in the bathroom. We didn’t use the bathroom after we showered from all the standing water it left. They gave us a handicap room (not sure why) maybe that’s why the shower was completely open, not sure! Would stay again for the awesome location!!
