Christmas at Biltmore
We have been staying here about 4 times every year for over 10 years and it has always been exceptional. We stayed here during Covid also because I knew we could trust them to keep us and my 4 grand children as safe as possible.

We will never stay here again. The shower in our room look like it was not clean and trash was left on the furniture from the person before us. The person setting up breakfast was using touching the food with their hands. We also had issues finding parking in the hotel parking lot.

Good location in Asheville
Walls were super thin and could hear everything in surrounding rooms and hallway, including during “quiet hours.” Could also hear noise from the highway. Hallway and our bathroom smelled like marijuana. King mattress was worn out and not supportive. Location was good but will not stay here again.

The staff and owner manger were very nice. The rooms were clean. The only negative thing I can say was the beds in the handicapped room are too high to transfer from a wheelchair to the bed. I can stand a little so that was how I was able to get on the bed. But if you have to slide to transfer you will not be able to. But rest of handicapped room was good.

Clean, but w/ some flaws
Hotel was nice, clean and decorated well. However the walls are very thin. It was pretty noisy out in the hallway w/ doors closing and people walking above us. The shower leaked all over the floor. Luckily they had given us 2 extra towels. I did tell the lady at the desk and she said she would have someone check it. Breakfast was a disappointment. We ended up drinking hot chocolate. Which was great. Nice hotel, but wouldn't be my choice for my next trip to Asheville.

I know they are still recovering from the flooding, so the water wasn't potable, however they provided free water, and that's fine. They did have very limited breakfast due to that as well, although that would have been nice to know in advance. But the cleanliness was lacking. Also our purchase through expedia was said to include $10 for the concessions, which we didn't get. The staff said they never heard anything about it. So, a lot of the value of selecting that hotel was not there. I wouldn't book here again.
