The Space:
Welcome to Casita de Canon – a fusion of tranquility, intimacy, and convenience. This idyllic retreat has been designed with attention to detail to ensure comfort, conveying an invigorating sense of home mixed with a sense of adventure. The casita teems with warmth, from the inviting Queen-sized bed to the well-curated kitchenette, offering all you need, be it a hot morning coffee or a refueling dinner after a day of exploration.

The convenient fold-down table allows you to enjoy your meals or to work a bit, while situated amid the stunning scenery. The contemporary bathroom, featuring a spacious shower, delivers a spa-like atmosphere where you can unwind and wash the day away.

Our studio is a step away from the vibrant local life. Bravo for food lovers! Indulge in the incredible experiences from Cooking Studio Taos, or maybe hunt for unique New Mexican crafts in Francesca's Clothing Boutique or Rottenstone Pottery. Capture moments at iconic landmarks like the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge or immerse into the spiritual realm of Taos Pueblo, a UNESCO world heritage site.

Whilst offering separate and private accommodation, the casita shares a serenely enclosed carport with the main house, providing one parking spot. This charming casita encapsulates the essence of New Mexican hospitality awaiting you.

Guest Access:
As our guests, you'll enjoy exclusive and private access to the entire casita including the attached bathroom, kitchenette, and dining area. The designated parking spot is at the left most corner of the covered portal (carport) we share with the main home.

Taos, New Mexico is a year-round destination for adventure seekers and culture vultures. As spring approaches, the snow melts away, revealing landscapes that inspire artists and adventurers alike. With President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day upcoming, why not escape from the everyday and come take in the breathtaking scenery, vibrant local events, or even venture on the nearby kayak?

Viist the iconic Rio Grande River or take a short drive to the Cooking Studio Taos and delve into New Mexican cuisine. In the evening, unwind at the Love Apple, a local favorite that serves organic food in what was once a chapel, or Medley for upscale wine and dine, both located in El Prado, just minutes away from our casita.

Also, winter often requires vehicles with AWD, particularly if you're planning to conquer the slopes at the Taos Ski Valley. For our guests' convenience, we offer cleaning services during the stay, as well as, concierge service to meet every need, from private chef to pre-made meals and adventure gear rental. Remember, staying local is experiencing local!
