Both the noise from the ac but particulary the noise at night of the machines on top of the roof. Also, the white roof with black patches makes the view horrible. The room was very clean and the bed confortable.

Stayed there last year, worst experience ever, someone got into my room and stole some of my stuff . I reported to the front desk , I also filled out a review like this one and was never acknowledged. I went back this year for the family reunion, no other options in Rentfrew. But I notice a big difference with the staff members , certainly more professional . And we had a great stay this time . But left our valuables in our vehicle just in case.I have travelled so many years on the road and had never had that experience before. So I was glad to see changes were made .

When we first checked in, at 8:30pm, the room had not been cleaned. The bed was not made, the garbages not emptied and trash on the floor. They moved us to a different room, it only had double beds, not queens and the curtains were partly torn from the ceiling. The walls and ceilings are stained and discloured in may areas.

We arrived and no one was at the front desk. We rang the bell and no one came for over 5 minutes so we had to call the hotel to get someone. Our room smelt like cigarettes and there were strange bugs. The carpet seemed dirty. It was not worth the money and if you gave children I highly recommend not going here especially because of the cigarette smell.

Average hotel but my room stank of cigarette smoke, it is a non-smoking hotel so I don’t know why. When I asked for a new room they told me they all smell like that. So all my clothes now smelled like smoke for the rest of the trip. Unfortunate that this is the only hotel in town so they don’t care.

This is a huge hotel, that once was the center for conventions. At the moment, it has not been updated in some years. The room was very dusty, the whole building needs a thorough cleaning. But, for the cost, it is a decent overnight stay and is pet-friendly. The young lady working the front desk was very professional and polite. Overall, good stay.
