This is a great three star hotel and an average four star hotel. The price can’t be beat for the amenities you get. Just remember, if you are expecting a five star hotel you need to go to another location in the city. This hotel’s location makes this a great choice because you are 5-10 minutes walking distance from 90% of what’s offered in the city. Great shopping and restaurants are a stone’s throw away. Both bus terminals are a couple blocks away, and if you are taking the bus from Amman, (which I recommend) that comes in handy.
My corner room on the top floor was an excellent size with views from 2 different balconies. The pool was just one floor up. You are not right on the Red Sea, but you can see it from the hotel. Only a few five star hotels are on the water and this hotel is one third of their cost.
The breakfast is passable. The breakfast meats were not good, but they have eggs, cereal, fruit, and yogurt. The internet in the room was not very good, but they compensated me by letting me use the internet in the business center for no charge.
The cleanliness of the room could be improved. Since the floors are marble, you easily notice the dust. But I mentioned this to the housekeeper and they cleaned my room a little better after the first night. Unless I just have money to burn, I would definitely stay here again.
