For starters there was a towel shortage and rather than having regular sized bath towels we were given a bundle of hand towels to use. The bathroom was dirty. Light fixtures were falling out of the ceiling. The AC unit made the room feel wet/damp. The pool has a broken floor and there’s sharp pieces of pool liner all over the bottom of the pool. There were multiple spots where the pool floor had missing pieces which created sharp edges. The hot tub was out of order and apparently has been for months. The breakfast food was terrible. The employees doing laundry in the laundry room propped the door open and shouted profanity as they cleaned towels and linens. We heard this multiple times from a larger older woman. The keys never wanted to work for our rooms or the pool area. When we made the front desk aware of this issue we were told it happens a lot keep trying. So obviously correcting problems at this hotel is not a priority. To top everything off the WiFi was horrible. 0/10 will never come again and have told our family who frequently travels to this area to avoid the hotel at all costs.

It was great that the BW Plus Airport Hotel was on Lu 7 min. to the airport, but I was disappointed that they didn’t have a shuttle to the airport so had to spend another $15.49 on an Uber to the airport.

The room was decent and clean and renovated. However, the hallway carpets I don’t think were vacuumed the three days we were ther. breakfast the first day, even though there was an hour to go yet was pretty bad. The waffle batter was water, literally, and the eggs were sitting in about inch of water. we skipped the next day breakfast since we didn’t want to go back, the third day it was better. We put the placard on the door saying we would like our room made up, just wanted clean towels, at 8 o’clock in the morning, When we left the hotel at 3 PM, we asked at the desk for clean towels to be brought up, when we got back to the hotel at 10 they still were not there.

I have stayed here before in the exact same room about 7 months back. Boy has it changed. The bunk beds are so loud and unsteady, the room took until the next morning to cool down. The handle in the bathroom was broke. The bottles of soap and lotion they leave for you were obviously used before. The hot tub was out of order. Was just disappointed this time around.

A 2 star hotel charging a 4 star price-tag
Called to see if early check in was available and told “we don’t do that here”. Asked for a quiet room, high level, and away from elevator (when booked 3 mo in advance) and at check in was given a room right around the corner from elevator on 2nd level. Heard every footstep from room above us! Bathroom tub had a couple hairs on sides upon check in. Shower curtain had black mold (yes we told front desk about it). King sized bed was ok for comfort (was a Serta sleeper) although other competitors hotels have more than 4 pillows for a king. Did not stay or use breakfast. For hotel location, lack of cleanliness and noise levels; will not recommend to stay here as the room was $225 with fees and taxes. Other hotels in area offer stove tops, Full sized refrigerators, are very clean, quiet and in a nicer location for at least $50 (or more) cheaper in price!

Great hotel!
This was a great place to stay in Appleton. The room was clean and newly updated, plus the staff were kind. There were numerous choices at breakfast and they even had soy milk for the cereal. That was a pleasant surprise! Most hotels don't offer that option. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again if I am ever in Appleton again!
