Nestled in the hillside above Souda Bay, Villa Bougainvillea offers a spectacular panoramic ocean view, two private outdoor swimming pools (1 adult pool L7xW4xD1.2 m and 1 childrens paddling pool D45 cm) and private gated drive with ample parking. Sleeps 7 plus cot.
The villa is beautifully furnished and features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living area and kitchen. Each bedroom and living area has french doors to balconies with mountain & sea views. Full air conditioning in all rooms.
The villa is fully equipped with everything you will need for a fabulous home from home, luxury holiday. WIFI Internet connection, leather sofas (1 sofa bed), smart HD TV, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, juicer, toaster, kettle, slow cooker and so on.
The balconies, pool and pool terrace with BBQ are illuminated at night for that perfect relaxing evening for Al Fresco entertaining and maybe a midnight swim. Plenty of outside table and chairs, sunbeds and umbrellas with a choice of locations to sit from a private terrace, to by the pool, to on each balcony.
For families with small children, the children's pool is adjacent to the main private swimming pool, ideal for the children to play safely whilst you enjoy a swim or relax on a sun bed by the pool. Moveable umbrellas with sturdy stands so that you can position the umbrella over the children's pool to protect little ones from the sun. A range of children's pool toys are available. If the children are happy, Mum and Dad are happy!
With luggage restrictions getting tighter with airlines save on your weight allowance: A travel cot with bedding is provided so no need to haul your own from home. Books, hairdryers, stairgate and beach towels are also available for your use.
The houses either side of our villa are privately owned and not used as a full time residence or holiday let, and therefore for the majority of the year they are empty. Villa Bougainvillea is indeed an oasis located amongst nature, in a peaceful and quiet location with full privacy.
*** December 2024, the Greek parliament approved a bill increasing the daily tax on short-term rental and hotel accommodation. This measure has come into effect for all arrivals January 2025 onwards. This increase aims to combat climate change and support reconstruction efforts after Greeceās 2023 extreme weather events, building resilience for a sustainable future. Going forward, the daily tax for hotel and holiday rental accommodation will increase to 15-euros per night during the summer season (2 euros per night for smaller properties).
The Vrbo system does not yet have a section for collecting the Climate Resilience Levy and we have, therefore, had to add it to the billing section as an extra fee which will show on the booking as either a Host Fee or an Adminsitrative Fee.
Whilst we understand the potential budget concerns of our guests, this tax is beyond our control and we encourage our guests to see this as a way of contributing to the protection of the planet and the beautiful area where they are holidaying.
