Very good hotel with friendly staff

Pros: Personnel, view, breakfast, location
I've stayed at APA hotels before so I expected a typical smallish but spotlessly clean and rather comfortable business hotel room, which I got all right. But the staff at this APA was super friendly, especially the two young men who worked there in the night of March 31 when I arrived. The hotel is very well located, at only 7mn by foot from JR Aomori station, two small blocks from the main shopping street with several conveinence stores around. My room had a lovely view of the city and the sea, with snowy mountains in the backdrop. Also very good view of another side of the city from the elevator area. The basically Japanese-style buffet breakfast (at only JPY950 if purchased on arrival, otherwise it's JPY1150) is very recommendable. Overall, it was a really good stay.
