The property areas were absolutely stunning, making us feel like we were in Italy. The community was beautiful and peaceful, complete with a fantastic pool. Their shuttle service was truly exceptional, offering drop-off and pick-up at Central Park until 10:45 PM, which was incredibly convenient. However, our experience in the villa could have been better. There were numerous mosquitoes due to the need to leave the door and window open for ventilation. Although the host offered to send someone to check for standing water in the backyard, we found none. We purchased mosquito repellent, which helped significantly. I would suggest providing more bath towels in the bathroom. Throughout our stay, we only had one towel per person, and they had a musty odor, as did the pillows and bedsheets. Although I understand that the villa is typically locked, I recommend changing these linens and towels before check-in for a fresh and pleasant experience. The first-floor bathroom had some mold and a broken plug, but we managed to make it work using a disposable spoon to hold it up. On the other hand, the second-floor bathroom was recently renovated and our boys loved using it. I highly recommend using the second-floor bathroom for showers.

Fantastic!
The Villa was perfect for our family. It’s very clean, nicely decorated and safe. The owner was very kind and accommodating. The Villa provides a shuttle to and from the town centre which was a great addition to our stay. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful area! Silvia went above and beyond to make sure we were ok. I have traveled to Guatemala a few times and this is the best place thus far that we have stayed at.

There were too many steps to get to room. Also were disappointed with the rooms. One room was private but the other was not. It was rather a mezzanine. If I were to rent again I will ask more questions. I didn’t find it easy to communicate with the manager. It would be important to have a telephone number to call or an email to directly contact the manager.

The condo was lovely, the grounds and pool were wonderful. Silvia was very accessible and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay. Our only disappointment was the condo was outside Antiguas city walls and the shuttle provided stopped too early for an evening in town. It was a very short easy walk to the city walls but intimidating in the dark.

Wonderful experience
All four of us enjoyed the experience immensely. The condo was beautiful and well appointed, the complex was quiet, private and filled with beauty and many private areas to go and chill. It’s a little away from the centre of town (20 minutes), but a shuttle service is provided on demand at virtually all times. We highly recommend staying at Silvia’s lovely condo.

Villas Oratovio is such a private and beautiful property! The laundry that is available is not in the unit, and if we stayed longer we would have needed to request more towels, but those are the only small issues! The house was decorated beautifully.

The villa was well equipped, comfortable, ideal for a family or two couples. The shuttle service made visiting Antigua very easy. Very short waits, an excellent service as the villa is located just outside town. The pool was another bonus. Due to Covid we were allocated an hour to ourselves. Very good sysyem. The grounds are well kept, the staff very polite and helpful. We spent a wonderful week here.
