With two bedrooms it comfortably accommodates up to four guests and is ideal for a small family or for friends travelling together. The open plan style living areas make great use of space with the cosy lounge and window seat to the front, well-equipped kitchen to the back and dining space between. The rear door opens directly onto the enclosed courtyard with seating, perfect for enjoying the sunnier weather as well as an outhouse where guests will find a fantastic range of family friendly equipment including beach toys, fishing nets, tennis rackets and even a kite as well as the washing machine and a freezer. The well-maintained courtyard is shared with the few houses that surround it and has plenty of room for each to relax. Both bedrooms are to the front of the property and are light, airy spaces with neutral décor. The double bedroom is located off the corridor where the three-piece shower room and separate WC are also found. The layout of The Old Surgery is sociable for a family or friends whilst still offering space for quiet- curl up on the window seat to watch the world go by, play board games at the dining table or relax with a book in the garden. There is on street parking available on the High St and with a butcher, bakers and greengrocer all close by as well as fresh lobster from the harbour hut, the local pub, restaurant and fish and chip shop you’ve got everything you need on the doorstep. If you do want to explore further, St Andrews is less than 10 miles, and the coastal path just a few minutes’ walk, connecting Crail to the neighbouring villages taking in spectacular scenery on the way. Several world-renowned golf courses are within easy reach and those keen for an active break can try out watersports, wild swimming and boat trips. Beachcombing, paddling and building sandcastles are ageless activities you can enjoy on the shoreline and with so many iconic landmarks and vistas there’s always plenty for the keen photographer to capture.
