4 day birthday break
We had 4 people staying on the first night. Everyone was very comfortable but the loft space did allow sound to travel from downstairs. We enjoyed the patio and beautiful views of the forth. We cooked a meal on the third day and made full use of the well appointed kitchen. The only issue we had was the lack of toilet brush and that we couldn't get the washing machine to drain. The host's solution to this (send more towels) would not have been practical on a longer stay. Very pleasant cottage..

Really loved the cosy and perfectly situated cottage with stunning views of the Fife coast. Explored the coastal path amongst other things in largely dry, bright weather.

Wonderful stay!
Great 3 night stay. The beds were comfortable and the electric blankets were a great treat. Hot water was always available and the kitchen was well stocked (even though we didn't really cook). The best feature is the views. Priceless.

Small Oasis with a view
Very nice place with a beautiful view .. very clean and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Our only negative was the parking situation. There are cearly enough spaces for 3 cars, but someone didn't want us parking there .. so they took up 2 spaces with one car. We had to park further away, and carry our things up the hill.

We loved the large terrace and comfy outdoor seats with a view of the sea. Bifold doors really opened up the space. Very comfy beds and tasteful decor throughout. Kitchen really well equipped. A great base to explore the East Neuk villages and access to the Fife Coastal Path on the doorstep.

Wonderfully relaxing
The outside stone terrace overlooked the Firth of Forth with comfortable seating. Also, very private. With the doors open to the terrace and water views the cottage seemed bigger and brighter. It was perfectly adequate for a couple. We only used the upstairs twin bed loft to store our luggage. Best part was the owners live across the street so when we had an issue with the coffee maker he stopped by. No one would be disappointed to make this VRBO their vacation home.

Lovely little cottage
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in St Monans! The cottage is absolutely adorable with well-curated items and artwork. It was personal without feeling overly personalized to a point of discomfort. We enjoyed easy access to nearby sights. Loved the Giddy Gannett and walking about the Harbour.

We had an amazing family break away, the cottage was absolutely stunning, had everything and more we could have needed and the views where breathtaking! The cottage itself was spotless, so cosy and homely in an idyllic fishing town. We will certainly be returning. Walking and eating
Carefully planned and decorated. Well equipped had we wanted to cook, but we eat out. We were lucky with the weather and walked the St Monans to Crail and Lower Largo to Elie sections of the coastal path, taking advantage of the 915 bus. We visited St Andrews ( university and golf boring, but town interesting), Kelly’s castle and Falkland Palace. Craig Millard restaurant in St Monans excellent.

Great view and location
Lovely property - has everything you need, really comfy beds. Great view out over rooftops to the sea, loved sitting watching it! Although our visit was in February and we didn't really use the terrace it would be a great place to sit in the warmer months. Kitchen compact but has all that you need. Would happily return!
