We visited Annapolis with the intent of going to the Naval Academy, so this was the perfect location for our needs...just steps away from the entrance.
The property was fun for us because my children only know the "newer" style of homes in Florida, so they enjoyed being able to live in an older, historical home for the weekend. It was very comfortable, with super soft linens and extra pillows for the beds, and on the sofa.
I usually venture out and tour/shop/dine/explore until late at night while on vacation in an interesting town, but this property was so cozy that we ended up going back early and enjoying it as a family -watched Olympics, and relaxed in the comfy living room.
The parking was no problem for us because I enjoy walking, but if you expect to park on site, that will not happen. There is a 2 hour parking limit (per the city, not the owners) in front of this property so we opted to park in public garage that offered free parking over the weekend- about a 10 minute walk from parking garage to the property. If you stay during weekdays you may need to pay to park in the local garages- and be ready to walk back to the property.
We did not use the kitchen other than to heat up leftovers in the microwave, but it appeared to be fully equipped with everything needed to cook a meal, including spices, salt/pepper, sugar, etc.
We loved staying here, and only wish we could have stayed longer!
