Peaceful Cabin, close to Angier, Fuquay and Holly Springs. Campbell U. nearby.

Log Cabin at the end of a cul de sac, down a long private driveway. Quiet and remote feeling, but only 10 minutes to a small town and grocery stores. Relaxing large stone fireplace and Great Room. Screened front porch and large back deck over-looking a fire pit and former stable. You might spot the neighbor's long horn cattle, goats and pony, or the occasional coyote. Close to Campbell University. Stop at Sunni Sky's for 125+ flavors of ice cream.
I've had some areas of the yard freshly seeded Fall 2023 and its coming in nice and green. I've put the hammock for the new year. The neighbor's baby goats can be seen wandering their field. Sorry for the pollen, but its that time of the year. And you'll see a large number of wood bees too. Enjoy your stay!
During your stay at this cabin, you'll be close to John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center. Free WiFi and a kitchen are available in the cabin.

Relaxing Find
The location was what we were looking for-cozy, out of the way, and relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking needs for an extended stay. With the cooler weather, it was wonderful to have fires both outside at the fire pit and inside with a relaxing glass of wine/hot chocolate. The host was very responsive to any and all questions we had leading up to and during the stay. While the beds were not comfortable for us, I cannot justify a lower rating based on the overall experience and it being unreasonable to expect my exact bed to provided at a vacation rental.

Cute little cabin. We weren’t really there but to sleep since we were in town for a wedding. Overall though would be nice to stay for a country feel.

Nice Canin
The cabin itself was great - as described and very clean. Would have rated it 5 stars if there was a walkway to and lighting on the entry door upon arrival. It felt a bit unsafe as the stairs were wet and covered with leaves and we couldn’t easily see where we were going. These concerns would likely not be as big a deal for a day time arrival. Once in the house we found a switch for an exterior flood light, which was perfect for the remaining nights of our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Cabin
The cabin is great and the inside was clean and well stocked. We liked the decor. Our only complaint was that the outdoor areas could use some cleaning and/or maintenance. Everything inside was great.

Relaxing Getaway
If you are looking for something close to restaurants and shops but also in a serene location, this is it! The house was very clean and well stocked. It was spacious, inviting, and comfortable. We enjoyed our visit and will be back! We just wished the grass was cut and much shorter. The tall grass made going to/from the vehicles and fire pit a little uncomfortable, especially after it rained.

Summer vacation
My wife and I usually go to NH for the week of the 4th. This year we decided to change things up because my son moved to NC last year. We wanted to go and see where he was living now. I found this cabin online and it looked very nice. It did not disappoint. The cabin was very clean when we arrived. We found it to be well stocked with what we needed, we also liked the way the home was decorated. The decor followed the theme throughout the cabin. It is a place that would rent again when in the area for a visit. Thank you Todd for sharing your property.

Cabin stay June.
We stayed in this Cabin just short of a week.. and there are a few things that are note worthy. When we arrived we spent about 3 hours cleaning toilets, showers and getting rid of spiders and their webs. I grew up in a log cabin, so to say spiders are expected is a cop-out. There were webs so thick they looked like silk sheets. Every room, every corner, every window... everywhere. Most windows were missing their screens so you couldnt even open them. The spiders and nests of hornets ourside were just as bad. The deck chairs were disgusting. I do appreciate the note about kids under 13 not being there, the stairs are very uneven and slippery. The AC only stays on after you adjust it for 2 hours.. so if you sleep in the upstairs room be prepaired to wake every 2 hours or else you'd will sweat to death. The "eco" temp would default to 80 and you wake up to it being 85! While the cain has great potential, it needs some attention and care.

Amazing place in an amazing location. Only issue was with thermostat. Was 76 when we arrived and way too hot. I set it and every four hours or so it would switch back to 76 or sometimes 82. So had to battle that all week.

This was the cleanest and best-stocked short term rental house we've stayed in, and we stay in them frequently. The screened in porch was like an oasis every morning, and the neighborhood is quiet and friendly. We enjoyed the neighbor's goats and got to know a few cats who stopped by as well.

Very nice.
My wife and I, my son and his wife were up there as guests for a Wedding in Fuquay-Varina. The place was great. So much better than spending 3 days in a motel. Our friends were envious. Before you get there, you need to call the owner and have him set the thermostat. The thermostat is digital and remotely controlled. There are no instructions anywhere in the house. There is no brand name on the thermostat anywhere. After driving for 11 hours, we got there, at 9:30 PM, it was 42 degrees outside, going down to 30. It was 51 degrees in the house. The thermostat was set on Cool - 66 degrees. There was no way I could change the thermostat to Heat. I finally figured out how to adjust the temp setting by sliding my finger along the side of the thermostat. No button, no switches, no screen, just slide you finger along the side, up or down. Good grief. Thank goodness I copied the phone number for the owner. I called and got voicemail. I was pretty much to the point i needed to find a 3-lb hammer and fix the thermostat, or just look for a local motel room, or maybe both. The owner called just as we were heading out the door. Todd is a nice guy. He set the thermostat on heat. I told him what we had been through. He said there is nothing to it. Just go to google and I could set it myself. I am guessing he meant that I could download an app on my cellphone. It shouldn't be this complicated. I recommend Todd put a normal thermostat in the house.

Country Perfection
Beautiful views and so very private!! The best equipped kitchen in a rental property yet!! Comfortable beds and plenty of space, both indoor and out! Less than 15 minutes to Buies Creek and Lillington, this was the perfect spot to stay for a Campbell family coming in for a football game. Grill on the back deck, screened in front porch, fire pit in the back yard, all enjoyable for sisters that live 1000 miles apart to gather and visit. Would definitely stay again, if it’s available when I need it. So sad it’s currently unavailable for my next trip down!! Please know this is a cabin, in a true sense. There is not an outlet every three feet, but there IS a dishwasher that isn’t you!
