Reviving Mountain Retreat With Modern Interior In Andermatt

We provide a fully equipped apartment with carefully selected interior, within walking distance from the ski lifts, from all services (shops, restaurants, bakery, banks, post office etc. ) and from all leisure attractions in the valley "Urserntal".

There is an open kitchen with a cooking isle in the middle of the apartment overseeing the dining and living room. Furniture and fittings were chosen with an eye for detail and quality. The appartment houses two inviting bath rooms with a spacious bath tub and shower, and the two bed rooms provide space for 4-5 adults or a family with 2-3 children. For additional comfort, the apartment comes with a parking space in the garage. A designated heated cabinet in the ski room helps to dry and warm ski boots and gloves.

During summer, the golf course, a plethora of hiking and biking trails and several cosy restaurants are easily accessible by foot.

During winter, cross country skiing tracks and the base stations of Gemsstock and Gütsch are in short walking distance, providing access to the Skiarena, stretching all the way to Disentis and Sedrun. Andermatt is famous for off-piste skiing, snow touring and fat-biking.

The Chedi hotel is in walking distance providing fine dining, lavish brunches, an inside and outside bar and a cigar lounge.

The heart of Milan with ample culture and shopping is 2h away by car.

We loved our stay. The location was convenient. It was right on the train tracks, but we never heard them! The building is built very well! The beds were comfy and kitchen was well equipped. Only regret is not having longer to stay. We’ve discovered so much to do and can’t wait to return!

You will not find a better apartment in the village. The owner Chris is very helpful and concerned with guests. Perfect location for ski, eat and train. The place is furnished very high-end and comfortable. You have found your place in Andermatt!

Perfect Stay in Andermatt
The property was perfectly located right near the train and near both ski gondolas as well as the main part of town. The apartment itself is quite close to the train tracks but you'll never hear a single train they are so quiet. It was well equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and living area. I would venture to say it was the best apartment we have stayed at for a ski holiday if you look at all the aspects. The host was very communicative and check in was a breeze. We brought our own travel cot for our 6 month old baby but the bath was perfect for her and the living space was much easier for a family than all being in a single hotel room. I would highly recommend for any family coming to Andermatt.

Beautiful Apartment in a Perfect Location
We absolutely loved our stay in this apartment. It's beautifully decorated and very well appointed. I travel all over the world and this place had the best kitchen set up I've ever seen. Every cooking item you could possibly want was included. We made good use of it because we had breakfast and dinner there almost every night (4 days). It's a quick walk (about 7 min) from the train, which was ideal since we arrived by train. (10 min walk to grocery.) The hosts made the check-in process very clear & we had no issues. Communication was excellent. The best thing about this apartment is that it is far more beautiful than the photos. I was so surprised when I walked in, it's absolutely gorgeous. The hosts truly care about their guest experience. There's also a washer and dryer which we used, works great. There's a nice deck enclosed with glass windows, we didn't use in winter, but it would be lovely in the summer. We skied at both Gemsstock & Natzchen resorts, and recommend Gemsstock for the more advanced skiers. We had big powder AND sun (thanks Switzerland!) and the terrain was excellent. We're from Colorado, so the bar was high, and Gemsstock did not disappoint! It was about a 10 minute walk to each resort, and we rented skis at the base of Gemsstock. I had an Epic pass, but there's also a 50% off card for lifts that we used for my son & his girlfriend (buy online). I would highly recommend this place, and I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Andermatt Visit
Property was beautiful. I could live in the unit full time. Communication with the owner was great. We had a bit of trouble locating the unit as the building is behind other buildings.The footpath to the building is immediately right across the bridge (where the bridge railing ends) on the road in front of the train station. Walk down the path and the unit is in the second building. When parking, the driveway to the common garage is further up the street to the right. Unfortunately, our stay had to be cut short as the temperature was close to freezing and we were on motorcycles. We didn't want to ride the mountain passes with the possibility of ice. Overall, would highly recommend.

We were delighted by the accommodations at the apartment in Andermatt. It was well-appointed, had enough space for my family of five, and provided us an excellent home-away-from-home as we bounced around various parts of Uri and down into Northern Italy. Highly recommend this property!

Wonderful introduction to Switzerland
This was our first trip to Switzerland and the owner, Chris, was extremely kind and accommodating! The property was very clean and comfortable and had all the conveniences of home. It is located very conveniently to the train station and a comfortable walking distance to restaurants and the local grocery store. 10/10 would recommend!

An amazing apartment
We have done ski trips in Europe and North America, but this was, by far, our favorite apartment. It is spacious, modern, quiet, with ultra comfortable beds, and conveniently located. We enjoyed being close to both, the downhill ski lifts, train station, but also the cross-country ski trails. We highly recommend doing a short trip to Realp to enjoy the illuminated cross-country trails (only a 10-min. or so trainride). The brochure that was provided was really helpful and Chris was willing and quick to answer any questions (even when the answers were included in the brochure :)) Thank you for an incredible stay!

Great stay!
This is a great little gem in both the property and location! Property- clean and well maintained. Communication with the host was exceptional. Beds were comfortable. Despite proximity to the rail line, it was noticeably quiet inside. Location- Andermatt is a small town, which means that everything is an easy and short walk. We went in the summer to relax and we’re able to get everywhere we wanted to go easily. The views from the passes surrounding Andermatt were amazing as well! If the opportunity ever presents itself, I’ll return for another visit!

We had a wonderful stay in Andermatt at the Kayatz rental. The host , Christopher, was so very responsive and helpful, the condo was very love,y, quiet, high-end and spacious. Great place on the "right side of the tracks"
The apartment was clean and really nice to be in. Super convenient to the train station so we could travel by train and get there easily. It is also a convenient walk into town after skiing, for drinks and dinner.

Fantastic gem in the mountains
My family and I had a great time in the flat, which was modern and beautiful, clean and fully equipped. My kids had a great time with all the toys and board games. The hosts were always very thoughtful and responsive. We highly recommend this apartment for your next stay in the mountains!

The property is beautiful. It is a short walk from train station especially if you find the shortcut along the river and down the steps. Otherwise it is a bit of a walk and a little troublesome to locate (especially in the rain)

This was a great apartment in a great city. We really enjoyed our stay and Chris, the host, was absolutely wonderful and attentive to everything. An outstanding apartment with absolutely everything one could desire for shorter or longer stays in the Swiss Alps. Chris and Jo are exellent hosts. Helpful, flexible, easy to reach and always ready with good advice and suggestions. Pre-read material from the host is also extremely helpful and answers nearly all questions. We could not in anyway have asked for more.
